Relevance of Grey Wardens in DA2

However, in Dragon Age 2, we're going to be playing a chap named Hawke who is one of the sole survivors of the Blight, and who is quite possibly a trifle put out with the Wardens, considering that they let nearly the entire population of his house/village/town/city/nation/world/universe/this video game be wiped out.
Unless this game takes place during the first Blight, in which case he's the founder of their order, Mr. Hawke lives in the nice comfortable world in which he knows that any trouble with the darkspawn will be quickly stomped upon by the fellows in the Anderfels.
What I'm really interested in, right now, is how the Warden's will be portrayed in DA2, and how characters will react to them. Because we ourselves were Wardens in DA:O, we understood the need for decisive and sometimes ruthless action in order to quell a blight. Mr. Hawke on the other hand, probably doesn't understand this philosophy at all, and might feel bitter resentment towards them.
Anyway, does anyone have any opinions on how the Wardens will be portrayed in DA2, considering that they played such a dominant role in the first game?

The first Blight wasn't during the Dragon Age....

I wonder if there will be any plot hooks(?) just to refer to some of the actions our warden may have made in the first game.

maybe the intelligent darkspawn was the one you kill in wynnes companion quest.Kilshrek wrote...
Well if it is a blight then the Wardens will surely have to play some role. Though with the most recent archdemon killed it would really be stretching it for the darkspawn to have found another so quickly. Perhaps the 'intelligent' darkspawn from Awakenings get a bigger role here?

Hopefully as a bunch of self-important fools that can't keep it in their pants and spawned the a half-human, half-archdemon abomination that went on to become the next great threat to Thedas.Keithhy wrote...

There is nothing as horrible as a near lawless state of affairs. I suspect that after his community is destroyed. This individual (I refuse to utter the word HAWKE one more time) scrounges for survival in a live and let die environment. If people don't kill you, sickness or hardship will do it.
He will have to be a person of very forceful character, or the beneficiary of sheer luck to have the destiny Bioware is showing
