I wouldn't.
Would it be a big problem?

aslong you don't change facial structure and eye/skin color I am all for party costumization even to this level, especially with clothes/hair color/hairstyle

I wouldn't mind. I know they'd have to keep a default for concept art/cinematics and whatnot anyway, so as long as I at least have the choice to use the default.

i would mind. i prefer a default/pre-defined face.

usually the companions/party have more polygons/details in their models, so they look better.

plus i'm hopeless at creating different looking characters. all mine would look the same! *that nose is to big!picks default*

If we can only play as humans, they need to make it so we can make a wide variety of humans.

White

Black

Asian

middle eastern

Latino...etc

Don't get me wrong, I'm generally all for customization, just not for my companions. I want the best customization for my own character, but beyond changing attire, I'm not interested in customizing my companions; cause it's not what I should do. They are their own individuals (well, in this game atleast). This is not the Sims where you are in full control of everything every character wants or does. In RPGs ala Dragon Age they are their own characters and I have my own character who I can, or atleast am justified, to customize however I want; cause I'm in control of that character, I AM that character. D'you understand? It's about control. I shouldn't have that kind of control over my companions. It's an immersion breaker.

I would be for that! Would be a great idea for a future Bioware RPG. The characters could keep their personality but you have a few options regarding their looks. Nice!
