I wouldn't mind but I don't think ME3 is all that far along in development yet. Most of the script is propably finished. I think Bioware is still gathering feedback from ME1 and ME2 to decide what they did right and wrong and they won't begin programming gameplay until thier done.

i said mass effect 3....

I meant it's too soon. The teaser for ME2 came out 1.5 years after ME1 came out

:unsure:dead space and mass effect should never be in the same category (not even remotely similar)... nor merged ... that's like turning the awesome mass effect game into the gayest movie ever, Pandorum/District 9...

Mass Effect and Metroid Prime, or Mass Effect and Halo isn't such a bad idea... or even mass Effect and Star Wars KOTOR...
Dead Space is just a Sci Fi horror hybrid... where as Mass Effect is like a sci fi outer space version of Elder Scrolls or Dragon Age/RPG

I can almost smell the crack fiction writers waiting eagerly for this DLC.

wasn't overlord like dead space, a horror scene? didn't some egotistical robot get his money's worth of feeling special for having that produced with obvious plot holes?

Someone changed the name of this topic and now my previous post makes no sense at all.

I've never played Dead Space. I'm not to keen on mixing 2 different franchices together. It's like eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, for some people it tastes awesome, for others the thought makes you want to hurl.

certain elements combined would probably make a awesome product, for the sake of great entertainment...

that's to say if Perfect Dark Zero was exactly like Halo 3+Splinter Cell: Double Agent, it would have been super awesome...

or if Mass Effect 1 (near flawless story) had some of Mass Effect 2's game mechanics... it would have been a flawless game

 yeah I guess... to each their own. some prefer horror movie themes (dead space), and others prefer lame spacer romance (sex and the city in space)... little bit of country, little bit of rock and roll... B)

Mass effect + dead space = unforeseen consequences + total chaos

That would be kind of weird

I'm glad that the writers would never consider this idea, it is a terrible one. Let's leave the chocolate and peanut butter separate, and enjoy them separately. Next somebody will be wanting a Mass Effect/God of War crossover. Crossovers are generally a Bad Idea, and are usually just fanboy circle jerks. PASS.

I think it would be pretty awesome as a DLC of a derelict planet ******. I love dead space, and I love mass effect... Maybe Shepard is how Isaac survived after the end of Dead Space?

How about just a RIG-like DLC Armor in ME2 to promote the upcoming Dead Space 2?
