It's fine, I really don't care that somebody I don't know hates me. I think it's funny that people get SO worked up over threads like this. It's just a game people, chillax.
Do the kids still say chillax?

And the aliens there are scarier than any Collector! yay. Going through an Impossible run now. Insanity is long done. I wouldn't mind a crossover DLC either.

:unsure:dead space and mass effect should never be in the same category (not even remotely similar)... nor merged ... that's like turning the awesome mass effect game into the gayest movie ever, Pandorum/District 9...
Mass Effect and Metroid Prime, or Mass Effect and Halo isn't such a bad idea... or even mass Effect and Star Wars KOTOR...
Dead Space is just a Sci Fi horror hybrid... where as Mass Effect is like a sci fi outer space version of Elder Scrolls or Dragon Age/RPG
You know, I've actually liked Pandorum a lot. There's nothing gayish about it. Not with the conotation you used "gayest" anyway. And District 9 is a masterpiece. Awesome movie with a very interesting story and with much wider meaning that a simple sci-fi/aliens movie. I can't wait for District 10!
Dead Space and Mass Effect have many similar stuff. It would actually work just fine if they crossed in some point, specially for the publishers to grab some money from fans of both games or perhaps to introduce the games to one fan base that may not have played the other game.
And I can almost see a huge human reaper in this video! =)

Well, that is not what most Forums suggests us to do.

Shoot the periferical very vulnerable spots then shoot the heart/centre very vulnerable spot. With two huge bosses. Since Dead Space was out way before ME2, at least I hope ppl don't thing it was DS which copied it. I like ME2 but I'm having far greater fun replaying Dead Space. Surprinsingly for me, its replayability is awesome! I got bored in my 3rd run with ME2.

The periphery spots -> center spot attack is a staple of videogames since at least GHOSTBUSTERS for the Commodore64. It's only "copied" insofar as any gaming trope is copied by later games.RageGT wrote...

You might as well complain that this shooter copies that other shooter because both have ammo boxes strewn around.
Of DEAD SPACE and originality: that game is largely a rip-off of SYSTEM SHOCK2 in some not very subtle ways. One could forgive BIOSHOCK for the same - since it was made by essentially the same folks as SS2 - but for DS to vulture large swaths of it is, I'll say it charitably, interesting...
One last thing: 2K Marin (nee Irrational Games) made BIOSHOCK because EA wouldn't sell the SYSTEM SHOCK brand. Who publishes DEAD SPACE?
Things that make you go "hmmmmm" . . .

I had no idea. And I don't really like shooters. Well, at least not FPS which usually make me sick. Never played System Shock or Bioshock. However while I did enjoy my ME&ME2 few runs with each, I'm must say that Dead Space is really adictive. Weird for a short game with only 12 stages but I'm on round round 4 of Impossible mode, plus the hard one to unlock it, and it is still fun.
When I try to resume my 4th run with ME2 I can't help it but to go "argh" and quit. Perhaps I need another 20 runs with Dragon Age, a few more with The Witcher and the Gothics, lots of SC2 matches, before I can go back to ME2, Well, if ME3 is out out yet.
