Will there be sheaths?
Will there be cloaks, damn it!?

Seriously, one of the coolest things about an epic fantasy setting is having an awesome cloak, and yet every game in the genre cheats us out of the formentioned awesomness of being the bad ass in the cloak and cowl.

Hell, I think the clostest there has been are the poncho in Red Dead Redemption (which is amazing, btw, that thing moves like a dream) and the poncho-cloak...thing in Shadow of the Colossus.

So what is it gonna be Bioware? You guys going to break my heart again?
C'mon, people. Priorities.

While I am in the mood for making demands, spears and quarterstaffs kick ass, too.



I can't wait to see the first trailer. I don't know how you guys put up with the angry fanboys, but I still love you, Bioware.

aludrac7 - they removed every playable race except human, they removed origins, I think it is more likely they remove the pants from the character than to give us cloaks and capes (not to even mention horses)

Also I want decent mage robes and hats. You think I became an Arcane Warrior for gameplay reasons? Wrong. It was a fashion statement, and nothing more.

I think I speak for myself when I say that cloaks should have more priority of appearing in this game than returning party members.

These 2 things were totally not on my mind as of now. But I agree.

Also, give us some cool full face helmets, hoods and masks and don't make them come off during conversations. Just give us a toggle in the options.



It pissed me off to no end when my character would take his helmet off in the middle of a battlefield just to show of his hair.

Yes!
When I saw the Templar armor+robes my first thought was "that would look amazing on an Arcane Warrior."
I was crestfallen when even that was denied to me.

I already took the liberty of speaking for everybody in the thread title. Don't be shy, now.

Also on the list - Holding staffs like staffs (who wears their staff on there back), wide brimmed hats, and Bowstrings.
And only if you are feeling darring, kilts. I don't know if there are any groups of people who wear them in the world of Dragon Age, but there should be.

They added cloaks to Neverwinter Nights and they looked pretty good though. I agree though, I'd like to see sheaths, as well as the ability to keep my sword at my waist. Well, and a dueling/single sword combat option.

Really? You think those are the most pressing questions? What about "will it still resemble a *real* rpg or will it be dumbed-down and 'actioned-up' like ME2 was?"

Cloaks and sheaths are essential to any decent game and Bioware must know that.

And while we're on the topic of fashion, how about some regular clothing you can actually purchase and keep? It felt a shame to walk around camp in either your birthday suit, a suit of armor, or the rags you pick off of dead people.
