I am excited, actually. I can't wait to learn more about the game's premise.
Who is excited about Dragon age 2?

Hmmm. I can say I'm not too excited to play the game (due to a couple of reasons). Though I am a little excited to learn more things about it and perhaps the information that will be released in the future may change what I feel.

Can't say I'm excited really. I'm disappointed from the info given to us so far, and I think the player voice will ruin the immersion for me, but it will be a good game regardless, so I'm excited in a sense that Bioware is releasing a new game, but as I've said in other threads, I would prefer Bioware to work on a true sequel to DA:O.

I'd excited about Dragon Age 5 if they keep making them with good stories.

first Bioware title where im more or less, seen this done that
Hawke the Champion , Free Marshes..not exactly epic; ME similarities - disappointing; why change a winning concept is beyond my logic, but then EA did that with C&C
On paper Witcher 2 and even Fable 3 look something far more;

I'm still excited, but I need one more bad thing to happen and then I'll be disappointed. Maybe the voice thing won't be so bad, and we'll still get choices on what to say other than the common 3 in Mass Effect (I've played only a bit so far, if there's more tell me). It doesn't really matter though whether I like it or not, I'm still going to buy it. I won't lie.

I like some of the information we received so far but I'm sceptical about a few things.
Would have preffered to play as my DA:O Warden, but I'll settle for Hawke as long as the story turns out to be good.
I imagine my excitement will grow as we get closer to release date and more is revealed.
I definitely plan to buy the game though.

I just hope Kirkwall champ is not the biggest thing he does.
Maybe behind the scenes power behind the new throne?

I just hope this isn't the end of our origins characters. I mean I knew the time would come when we would start to make the transition to a new character, I'm just hoping that time hasn't already come. To soon in my opinion if that is the case.

as long as you are able to choose Hawke's Race and gender I'm fine with the new direction.
And customize him/her.
Anyway I'm excited and can't wait for the trailer

Not in the slightest. The first one was good, now they are screwing up the second one.

He is stated to become the most important person in all of Thedas' history. More important than any archon, Andraste, w/e.
He obviously has to do something epic to deserve that title.

I have a feeling TVTropes, once the game is out, is going to chronicle all this hate under "FanDumb"--they sort of already do.
Why not have faith the game will be good, with reservations, and keep an open mind? That way, BioWare has a harder time disappointing you, and you get to enjoy a good game.
