So nothing is going to change the fact that we have to play a human. Lets just get over it because this better mean that our character will be voiced. I vote Jennifer Hale? Why not? Yes, I'd like Jennifer Hale to voice Hawke in Dragon Effect. Please dont put the male sheppard voice though ..his acting is horrible. For male Hawke I say Samuel Jackson. Oh that would be big fun.
So who voices hawke?

To Mark Meer's credit, I think he did a way better job in ME2.
I wouldn't mind hearing Simon Templeman for about 40 hours of gameplay...

If the story is going to revolve around a personality then that personality will definitely be voiced. It may not be announced but it's not all that ambiguous.
As for who would voice Hawke I have absolutely no idea.

No, please don't have Jennifer Hale do the female PC. I want her doing a romanceable companion, like Bastila.
And yes, don't have Mark Meer do the male PC. I remember the pep talk during the final mission in ME2, he spoke with such lackluster emotions. The music was pumping, the lines were great, but the delivery was SUCH a letdown. Let's have someone with more emotions, passion, fire. I say yay to Samuel Jackson, but I seriously doubt he'd be down for this. Maybe Gerard Butler:
"This is Fereldan!"

I really like Loghaine's voice actor. He seems to really jump up the emotion. Did well in his small part in Me2 aswell. Honestly I vote for him... whoever he is.

Not Hale if she did something like Femshep's voice. Femshep sounded too butch in Mass Effect.
Bastila kinda voice? Fine.

Yeah, total overkill. Great voice actress, but I don't have to hear her all the time. How about Grey DeLisle? She was awesome as Jeannette Voermann, and she played a character in Awakening too. Some Dalish Elf chick I think, I haven't played the expansion, so I can't comment. Sounds very different each time she does a different character, so I think she'll be able to pull off a variety of different moods pretty well.
Keith David as male Hawke would be cool as well. His voice is deep, raspy, and authoritative. Here's a clip from Spawn: The Animated Series on HBO, skip to about 1:50.

Keith David's voice isn't neutral enough to be a main character voice, imho.

I loved Jennifer Hale as Shepherd, but it would be good to have someone different here.
Maybe Eva Green?
Mentioned this in another thread, but Robert Carlyle for male Hawke. Awesomeness.

Samuel Jackson would be sweet but I hightly dought it. I really don't care who they get to do the voice acting as long as they do a great job. Everyone will have different views as to who does a great job with voice acting, example I think that Mark Meer did a great job in ME2.

I said in another thread after someone mentioned...Ali Hillis (Liara T'soni - Mass Effect) would be great. I like Jennifer Hale but am kinda tired after KOTOR and Mass Effect. And c'mon, Nolan North is fantastic. You can barely tell that it's him doing the voice of Owain (Tranquil on the mage tower) in DAO.

Hawke is a survivor of the Blight, so chances are that he's from Ferelden originally.
So, his voice actor should preferrably be British, or atleast be able to do a good British accent.

'Cause he costs a f*ckload of money and you could probably find better people specialized in voice acting.
I'm very wary about including mainstream celebrity voices in games. In Oblivion, they had Patrick Stewart, Sean Bean and Terence Stamp saying a couple of lines, but only three or four terrible voice actors covering the rest of Cyrodiil. The problem wasn't as severe in Fallout 3, but you still had a lot of repeated voice overs there as well. Also, Liam Neeson didn't do that great a job (McDowell was great though).
I'm not saying that a live actor couldn't do a great job - Martin Sheen did a great job in ME2 and that game had great voice overs all around. However, to have a big name voicing the PC? I'm not so sure about that, resource limitations and all.
