Yeah, because having legitimate concerns is equivalent to entitlement. People like the OP are legion, and the publishers know this.
You really think there is no pressure being put on Bioware to make their games appeal to people like that? People who feel that having to use more than 2 brain cells while playing a game is equivalent to "work"?
It's true, Bioware hasn't let me down yet, and truly, I'm not worried that Dragon Age 2 will suck. Unless something goes terribly, critically wrong, DA2 will be a fun, great game.
My question is: Will it be recognizable as a sequel to the game we love? Or will it only share a name and a setting?
I LIKED the complexity of the combat, and the requirement of tactics (at least at higher difficulty levels), in fact I missed some fo the more deep complexity provided by the D&D rules of Neverwinter Nights. Will we still have that in DA2?
We can't say for sure, but given what we DO know. I worry. This is not an unreasonable stance, IMHO.
