ok i am glad people are giving opinions on how the game should play, what weapons we should have, spells, characters etc... Lets be honest the Developers will not listen! They have their vision of the game and it is absolute! All the complaining about one origin and being called HAWKE etc will not change their minds!
Lets try and focus on the posistive... if there are any?
So the DEV'S listen to us?

There are quite a few positive things:
new country
new story
new companions (maybe a few old ones as well?)
new romances
promises that our actions in DA:O will be acknowledged in DA2
Should be interesting once we get more info about all these things.

Well, they do listen. Whether they act on what we say is a completely different matter. Anyway, I actually like most of what I'm hearing as I don't want DA2 to be DA:O all over again with new companions.
As for the positives... I think Master Shiori mentioned a lot of them. To add to his list: better graphics! Yes, I'm a sucker for eye candy. Possibly more weapon and armor choices i guess. They really haven't revealed much at all. I suppose we'll have to see that upcoming Game Informer article.

So if it will be Mass Effect-like, well, let's gather the good things about that. Cinematic perspective, ever-moving camera, to give the storytelling a dynamic feeling. It will be more of an action/adventure than an RPG, but still, don't cut out all the skills and such. It gives variety to combat.
NO MOUSE-CLICKING AND TARGETTING COMBAT! You hear me?!
And consider the fact that DA was more successful than ME 1 or 2, and give a deep look why it was this way.

There not, the turn this franchise into a medieval mass effect

I see this with every new game, most especially the ones that are massive departures from the originals.
The problem remains the same.
They want to sell the game to us, and to do so, they can't take the attitude "Only we count", because otherwise the only guaranteed sales are the copies they themselves buy.
Personally, if they Mass Effect 2 this game, I *won't* buy it. If I want a shooter, I'll play Bioshock 2 instead.

The developers do seem to read people's posts. The problem is that what someone may want and what would actually make a good game might be two different things.
