[II Brownie II]

Just looking into pre ordering the game from Play.com and came across these two screenies...

I think the graphics in the close up one are a huge improvement, especially the hair/beard models... hard to see anything in detail in the first screen but the orge certainly look different... not as blue.

Thoughts???

Well they look...interesting, I wonder if their real, and if they are I take it the Darkspawn are in DA2 somehow.

The characters and armor seem to be more detailed. The environments don't look that much better, but those images are too small to really see much. Anyway, as long as it looks better than the first game, I won't complain.

Well, the environments still look boring as ever. The Hawke guy in the second pic looks ok, but very...cartoonish? It just reminds me of a He-Man cartoon or something...

Disappointed that the lighting still looks like rubbish.

If I want to play a male character I'll be shoehorned into playing a big, muscular Hawke with a deep voice over (not that I don't find those kinds of males attractive). Thanks Bioware for letting me imagine my character.

Ok, screens are not bad but I'm not a next-gen graphic **** anyway.

The only thing I like is Hawke in the second screenshot, That one is nicely detailed. Everything else looks kind of cartoonish.



Still these screenshots are most likely just work-in-progress.



I'll reserve my final judgement until I see the final version.

Yes! The complaint cycle continues! Every game I've ever followed gets this complaint at some point. Thank you sir, you are the first for this game. You should feel honored.

They are hardly official screenshoots. We have no clue how far into development they are from. Could still be a lot to add etc.

Edit: Hmm or they are..but I do remember the first pictures regarding mass effect. They looked awfull when compared to the what the game later ended up with.. When u download the picture and enlarge it u can see that they have added quite a bit of details btw.

Looks pretty good, but its still quite a ways out so I'm sure they can improve on those graphics.

That has to be a poorly rendered Alpha build running on low settings, I would hope. Or maybe the console version.

That's a big plus, though. I hate cell-shadding.
