I'm seeing more Morrowind than Oblivion, if that makes sense. Maybe it's just the size of the pics, but still.

If these do turn out to be official shots, then I like it, the Hawke model looks better then the DAO models, imo.

Yeah, the game is still about 8 months out until March 2011 to get it all polished up so its hard to be too critical, especially given the poor quality. Surely we'll be able to make a better assessment of how DA2 will look when people start getting the Game Informer later next week.

Looks like Companions are back. I instantly love this game... if the Party based tactics and combat play an equal role.

They're probably dragon age origin screenshot with a protagonist that look like the marketing Hawke.

But who i am to suppose that Bioware would probably be the first to release a screenshot of da2 with something different than a ogres on a very small and undetailed screenshot .. That look more like someone did on purpose to hide the fact that it's on the da:o engine.

But who know.maybe they're legit screenshot.maybe i'm making up stuff to feel intelligent.Or Maybe i am right and bioware will send me a cookie viarail.

What? Humm

I'm weird.

For such small screens and, most likely, early stages of the game's graphics, I'd say it looks mighty impressive so far.

As for the Darkspawn enemies, I'm willing to blame it on Origins' ending. If I recall, there was mention of the Darkspawn forces not dissolving like usual (Awakening related, as well) and I believe there was one line that mentioned of some crossing over to the Free Marches.

They should have gone with more of the Dark, Serious tone the Witcher series has, I dislike this cartoony, gears of war style type characters they wen't with.

Just looking into pre ordering the game from Play.com and came across these two screenies...

I think the graphics in the close up one are a huge improvement, especially the hair/beard models... hard to see anything in detail in the first screen but the orge certainly look different... not as blue.

Thoughts???

One looks cartoonish to me, the other looks like the dude is on medieval steroids. What do you want to bet that the female Hawke lacks that muscle development entirely.
At the same time, early stuff from DA:Origins looked noting like it looked in the game, so....

If I want to play a male character I'll be shoehorned into playing a big, muscular Hawke with a deep voice over (not that I don't find those kinds of males attractive). Thanks Bioware for letting me imagine my character.

Ok, screens are not bad but I'm not a next-gen graphic **** anyway.

Posted ImagePosted ImageCorrect me if I'm wrong, but we don't know if we can or can't customize our character's appearance, and I'm betting we'll be able to.

Now I remember what this game looks like, It looks like that Jack Black game that was released a while back.

Brutal Legsnds was the name of it.

The female Hawke will probably make up the lack of muscle with a growth in chest.

The very unique clothing he's wearing hints at a Mass Efffect 2 approach to armour in that there will be no loot but rather you can customise your generic clothing.... I'm probably wrong but that's what it looks like, and that's not good

Ugh... If that happens, I'll be severly disappointed. Unless they provide the player with very, and I mean VERY, good armor customization...

Edit: Scratch that. If it happens, the armor customization would have to be a stuff of legend, and then some!

Given how much it seems DA2 is copying from ME2, I wouldn't be too surprised at this point if they axe the inventory and armor/clothing system....:(
