Uh, yeah...if there are sex scenes, I hope they're like ME1, tastefully done. ME2 and DAO traded in artistry for a series of flat, uninteresting camera angles and covering up the naughty bits with cheap-looking bras and speedos. They showed way more (or rather, they WOULD have if not for the aforementioned Ye Olde Underpantse) and were way less compelling. ME1 showed that you don't have to show off the goods to have a really well-made scene.Clerissa wrote...

I just hope the "romantic" (aka sex) scenes in DA2 aren't as horribly cheesy as they are in DAO and Mass Effect 2.

Of course, if they are done ME1-style.
But since then, BioWare hasn't crafted a seriously good sex scene - perhaps DA2 may change that?

Since the game is over a 10 year span, i'm hoping for a more meaningful, and deeper relationship. As far as race goes, i'm hoping for a cute female dwarf.

Honestly I wouldn't mind something a bit like real life (yep I know it's a game) in that you have a relationship, you break up, you find someone else, you can break up or continue the relationship, maybe even go back to girl/guy #1 and rekindle a romance. The ability to cheat without them automatically knowing what that you did. Perhaps you get her pregnant and you find out well after the baby is born, I dunno. Just something more involved.

Haven;t gotten to MotB yet, but if we are going for NWN2 characters, I'm for Team Bishop. Of course going the other route, you can see that's not the case but still, he does go on through out the whole game talking about how the KC can take care of herself so it certainly is something else for Bishop of all people to say that. The jealousy is clearly there too, since he also spends the whole game egging on Casavir about not being able to "drink from a wnech's cup," lo and behold when it finally happens....

Also I'm gonna quote my old post from SWTOR forums regarding the romances:
"I don't care about the sex scenes but if they really wanna add romance there I'd much rather see a relationship that slowly develops into strong one.. meaning that you could actually feel that these two really care about each other and they would do anything for their loved one. Like a real couple.
They could add some very tragic and dramatic scenes too like you could actually lose your loved one in horrible accident, battle etc. or break up with them and the scenes would be very sad and maybe even have a little fight there.. the ones in ME and DA:O were complete jokes like "This isn't working.. I wanna break up with you" "As you wish".
Then you could do some stuff together like explore the world, hang out in cantinas or in your ship and talk this and that.. well okey this start to sound more like The Sims but my point was that if they really wanna have romances there, I wan't them to be well made.. not some lame crap like in ME or DA:O like you start to flirt a little bit which is almost forced in those conversations and the you move into kissing and after that.. BANG! very lame sex scene. After that the whole thing felt really empty to me.. like there wasn't any bond between the two.. if you know what I mean.

This. So much. I say it every now and then, but it goes ignored. I think this is right up there with "I don't like romance options, they shouldn't be included!" You can skip them. There's no use punishing the people who don't mind that we don't see boobs, or even that they're wearing underwear. Or at least don't mind insofar as they wish they weren't there.
