Darkspawn chronicles was canon and Dragon Age 2 picks up from where it left off?

Think about it isnt that crazy a theory, we know Hawke is a survivor of the blight and had to flee and become a refugee right? If the blight was stopped at Denerim why would he need to become a refugee? Why couldnt he stay in Ferelden and help rebuild?

The story could be based around our hero Hawke gaining allies and an army and preparing over the span of ten years to take back Ferelden.

Of course as somebody suggested earlier on these forums that Dragon Age 2 could be set during an earlier blight but they all happened before the Dragon Age and thus the game would have to be renamed Towers Age or Divine Age.

But hey this is just another crazy theory and probably a wrong one at that, take of it what you will.

I don't think it is, but I think Origins' events will just remain shadowed. A Grey Warden saved Ferelden from the blight, but there are so many myths and rumors it's hard to tell just what he/she did.



Origins left so many possible canon variations that I can see why they didn't really carry over directly from it.

Of course I would rather this diddnt happen and the game took the focus away from the Darkspawn and the Grey Wardens but hey, what are you gonna do?

Lots and LOTS of speculation at this point.  As Sopa de Gato (and I'm sure many others) noted, keeping the ending of DA:O shrouded in mystery, or perhaps even vaguely alluded to in the sequel, simplifies everything greatly.  Of course, it would also be simple for the writers to just pick one of the possible endings and roll with it. Enter the wailing and gnashing of teeth.

But yes, it would be great...perversely EXCELLENT...if Darkspawn Chronicles was canon. Oh the glee.

Eh... no, that would be bad. I've stopped the blight enought times already, I don't want to do it again. from another place. David Gaider stated that "Yet Another Blight" was not what they wanted to do, anyway and I'm glad they do.

If the predictions are correct and the core audience is alienated by crappy changes of limited choices and little character personalization and the twitch tards "lulz, Ishot him!!111" will think it's the greatest game ever.

I would so honestly, seriously love if Darkspawn Chronicles was canon, if anything, just for the priceless forum complaint entertainment it would spawn.

Also, then Barkspawn would be canon.  Barkspawn, heir to the grand tradition of Boo the Space Hamster and Dogmeat.  That might just be worth the Warden dying horribly

Yeah you are right, the forums exploding into flames would be so worth it, now I am hoping that this will be the case just to see the fans reactions .

Of course it is unlikely it will happen but a man can dream right?
