Only thing I frowned upon - and it's a really small thing - was the "Battle Dress of the Provocateur". Upon finishing, Leliana exclaims "Fit for the empress herself!" - and when I put it on, it was apparently completely similar to the armor I was already wearing, with only a barely-preceptible change in colour occurring. Would it really have been too much to put in a hot piece of bard armor? But ah well, this was still a good piece of DLC.

I'd agree, were it not for the fact that it takes an event Leliana told the PC about once she had finally come to trust him/her and then changes it completely.
The idea is that Leliana is a story teller, and each telling of the story is different. (she remarks upon this at the beginning and end of the DLC).
Besides, Leliana probably didn't want the Warden to know that she used to steal from the Chantry donation basket and wreak havoc in the streets of Denerim for "fun".

Well I have read that nothing we do or have in DAO and Awakenings will be relevant in DA2, We start a new character with nothing we have now. There is no transition.
Did you know that there is a 10 character limit for DA. I found that out after trying to start the DLC on the Awakenings side! Had to delete my Human Dwarf Warrior, had only gone through the ritual so is OK. Any more DLC comes out, I hope we dont have to start a new one LOL!

First off, you quoted the wrong person.ITSSEXYTIME wrote...

Secondly, I acknowledged the framing device the DLC employed -- you don't need to explain it to me.
Ultimately, your Warden's friendship/relationship with Leliana is quite literally centred (in the "make or break" sense) around the story of her betrayal, helping her deal with Marjorlaine and then helping her deal with how you dealt with Majorlaine. If she's fed you BS about the whole thing then... "poof": the entire "trust" part of that little trust building, character developing exercise utterly evaporates. From the player's perspective, anyway.
And, c'mon, let's be honest, here: the stuff at the beginning and end of the DLC is about the different ways you can play through the DLC. It isn't meant to imply that Leliana changes the location of the story from telling to telling -- or crafts something completely different -- just which dialogue options she chose and what she decided to do with the objects in the market. That kind of thing. Each telling of "the story" is NOT different but rather differently the same.
I could play through the DLC in a number of different ways and still feel like it was the "same" story from playthrough to playthrough. I cannot say the same if I compared any of those runthroughs with the story she tells in Origins.
If that doesn't bother you in the slightest, then awesome! I'm glad.
I'm almost of two minds. On the one hand, I prefer strong continuity. I liked the Origins story of Leliana's betrayal in Orlais and subsequent flight to Ferelden: it annoys me that it has been thrown out. On the other hand, I can't help but also like the idea of Leliana's credibility being utterly destroyed and Marjorlaine being right all along.

I've played through it as well and I think it was well worth the money. Very good DLC indeed. But i have a question about the "Battle Dress of the Provocateur". It doesnt transfer to my other games. Am i missing something? Does it only transfer to new games?
Have you downloaded the extra DLC for DAO & DAA besides Leliana's Song? I installed the armor DLC extra and got it on all playthroughs after finishing LS's quest for it.

I still haven't bought DSC and doubt that I will, but I thought this was worth the money.
DSC is great for the weapon you get. it's also fun to play as DS for a change. I would have suggested it BEFORE LS tho, as DSC is short on presentation

Leliana as the protagonist was perfect, her voicing was phenominal, the story was incredible,
I don't know how long it took me, but it definitely seemed like the longest Bioware DLC ever.
I second the praise of the difficult combat as well, it was frustrating at times but that's certainly much better than it being too easy. It was very satisfying at the end to defeat the powerful and evil !
Leliana's song clocked me in at like 3hours20mins. I did not rush.
I agree the COMBAT BALANCE was spot on, I died a few times.
