Radical right wing america is smarter than that. it's not laws against AO games, it's the corporations like WalMart and the political crybabies that blame videogames for gang violence etc...

It's nonsense that TV shows can have sex and violence, but videogames can only have absurd violence but no sex...

It's a "poor man's" HBO ROme.  Or a "rich man's Xena" depending on how you look at it.

Indeed, Romans also used that as a way to enforce classism and slavery.  The wealthy had fine robes, while the poor and slaves were in tattered rags, or naked.

Have you watched HBO's Rome?  It's epic and award winning.

I've already said the Starz Spartacus is a far cry from Rome, but there isnt much conten out there  portraying the Roman period, so it wins by default.

I've also admitted the first few episodes are bad.  But it really gets better.  I'm not really a Sam Raimi fan but the actors really carry the show.

Give it a chance man  I'm not going to try to say it's as good as Deadwood, but it's better than Glee and Amazing Race:alien:

Videogames are still in the teen audience guetto. Guess the +18 in the box doesn´t mean anything to some people.

I hope this time they go with camera angles or fades to black rather than DA:O.

If it matters that much to you, as has been brought up before, you can download mods and run around with as much exposed breasts and erect or flaccid penises you want. On top of that you can download mods that turn the love scenes into hardcore pornography. Why do they need to make a second version of an already M rated game?

If you want to watch sex in pixels, go search it on google. Keep the shrewd niches out of a game designed for the general. Plus its a waste of time appealing to porn addicts when you could be spending that time making the actual game better.

Well, adults can and do enjoy "adult content" all over the place, all the time. Doesn't mean you need "adult content" in everything that's aimed at adults. Some of us happen to think that compelling storylines with serious subject matter are more important than porn.

For that matter, when it comes to Dragon Age, gameplay is more important than porn. Why should the devs put all that work into making a separate AO version when they could spend the time improving the combat system, making more quests, and so on? Nobody plays the game for the sex scenes.

I'm with the "fade to black" camp. Pixelated sex scenes are without exception creepy, so it's more tasteful just to skip 'em. What I really want is the option to pursue romances without having to sleep with your love interest or break it off, but I guess not enough people want that for it to make it into the game.
