I'm not a stickler for nudity, but I think it's stupid how they leave it out of sex scenes. This is an M-rated game. You look at Mass Effect 2 and you'd think it was rated T

Stop using arguments like "Go watch some porn". We don't want porn, we want sex scenes which aren't utterly hilarious. The only sex scenes from Bioware which didn't make me roll my eyes are Shepard/Miranda and Shepard/Jack (the early one).



Look at how well done the sex scene in Heavy Rain was. Would you call it pornography?

I perfectly agree. But the again, it's EA... Somehow I doubt we will see some mature, meaningful sex scene.

I think it's a bit sad that OP seriously requests a separate version so he can watch nude NPC's.

They could easily improve the awkward and badly animated sex scenes. You don't have to make it a porn movie. For me it would ruin the game if you could see your own and companions' sex organs. I mean I wouldn't want to see Morrigan's vagina, would you?

I agree that the sex scenes were pretty awkward in DA. Bioware can do better, and they don't need to show full frontal nudity to do it.

Mostly because it would be pointless, but I'll try. You're obviously too blind to see it, and other people would already be able to tell just from normal reading... He said he doesn't want awkward sex scenes or porn. The post that "refutes" him a few posts up says much the same thing. But, by all means, keep on defending your original response.

Maybe I'm mentally retarded but I don't think 'you don't have to make it a porn movie' equals 'lolgowatchporn'. Also just because people have said the same thing before means that I cannot post my personal opinion? Even if it is the same as the one hundred people before me, that's what forums are about; posting your own opinion. If  you look on other threads you can see alot of people posting the same thing over and over again. Don't go saying that it's useless because it's not, it means that alot of people agree on something and if bioware reads they might be persuaded to rethink their actions. Don't say that it isn't true because they do read the heavily-read threads and when they do unconsciously they think about it. Which might lead to a different decision if that person gets through to the rest of bioware.

Re-read the posts that I quoted in my first response to him, especially the first one.. He may have said it nicer, but it was basically how I interpreted. His knee-jerk response was that wanting nudity in the game = wanting porn. The second quote in the same post is more of him using this interpretation of the request, describing typical porn camera work...

His post sounded to me like "it can be improved without making it pornographic," or in other words, arguing AGAINST the people making assumptions that anyone who wants them improved just wants to watch porn.

SirOccam has got it right, my first comment might have given the wrong impression of my real opinion, which is; they could gravely improve the romance scenes, they just shouldn't make it a virtual porn movie. Like some people have been suggesting or assuming from the people that said they should improve it. And about my first comment, the autor  of OP really gave of the impression that he wanted actual porn in the game. Which I do find a bit sad, as I don't see the point of it. To me (as I said before) actual porn would more derive from the experience than add. And if the actual reason you'd want porn in a videogame is because it's what turns you on, then the answer would be 'lolgowatchporn'.

No, but I don't want to see her underwear either.  I'm not sure about you, but my husband and I are generally (oh my) naked when we make love.   I thought ME had a very nice love scene at the end.  I watch tv with more skin then DA or ME had, and I don't watch paid cable networks.  

edit - I agree they could get rid of the awkwardness.<sigh>  I think, I also misread a little, but on the other hand I don't mind sex in video games as long as it is a choice and not pushed on me.

i am extremely amused how your case is the exact opposite to germany's mindset about age restriction. We are ok with boobs, but if someone bleeds a little in a game it has to have a 18+ restriction.
