For people who wanted to play as an elf in DA2 but can't, let's assume they will eventruall release more than 2 DA games, would you be okay if DA3 is focused on a elf, or maybe DA4 is based in Orzamar?

let's recap:
DA2 -  human
DA3 - elf
DA4 - Darwves
DA5 - Qunari

So instead of having a game with all 3 races being playable, they make 3 games each with on playable race. That set up sound better to me. Imagine a game solely focused on the elf, so much of the elven histroy can be explored and elaborated.

Sorry but no way.

Going by your list and idea plus IF Dragon Age 3 came out a year after Dragon Age 2 and continues like that every year for each sequel. It will be 2012 before I play as an elf and 2014 before I get to play as a dwarf. By that time I would have given up on Dragon Age (and BioWare) completely since I would have wait again for the rotation for the human to come back up.

You can learn a lot about each races history by just playing the game at least DAO and Awakenings, interacting with each race (NPC’s or companions) and reading the little codex entries you get.

From what we know it wouldn’t have been difficult to add in an elf or surface dwarf to the human since there were a lot of refugees in Lothering.
