Originally I planned to romance Leliana for my "good-guy" playthrough.

That was before I realized that there is really no clear good/bad in the game.

Acting kindly, practically, and evil all rewards and punish you at different points.

Anyways, I've played the game through 3 times now (can't turn it off) and I always end up romancing Morrigan. It's almost like I'm subconsciously thinking eventually she'll turn around.

I'm really hoping Morrigan appears in some kind of DLC. I know the prospect of playing the same character in the next DA seems unlikely, considering that the Grey Warden will die eventually, but if I do play another character with Morrigan as a central character (as I believe she'll be) I don't know what I'll think. On one hand it'd suck not to be able to romance her. On the other hand, if you could, I'd feel like I was cheating on myself. I felt my character to be her eternal lover.

I have faith in Bioware, so let's see what they pull up.

Have you checked out the 100 page long thread in the main forum? You're not the only one talking abut this, heh.

As for me, the disappointing thing is that the game takes away your ability to make the choice right at the end - no matter what you do, she always leaves. That would be fine if the story is still going and you could go after her, but it sucks to be told in a text box.

Hopefully the DLC will reunite the PC and her and expand on their relationship - it would be kind of stupid to have the only possible outcome be heartbreak in a game and universe that is so predicated on player choice and influence.

Have you ever considered.....She's just not into you? I mean sure she admits some emotion along the way, but ultimately she is self serving. She is loyal only to herself, and she has ulterior motives that, no matter what you do, she is gonna leave.

That said, I have no doubt that you will see her again. Theres gotta be some consequences somewhere down the line for creating a demon child.

Actually she is quite into you, but yeah, ultimately nothing is going to deter her from leaving. Of course she doesn't exactly try to stop you or say don't when you say you're going to look for her.

Anyway, you don't create a demon child. It's an untainted child with the soul of an old god.

There are definitely some possibilities that end up with her no that into you. There's also one where she's up awake at night feeling sorrow and regretful. So there are a bunch of interesting possibilities for places to take the story.

I hope this happens. The entire time I was enthralled by Morrigans story and decided to romance her. At the end I chose to be the one to impregnate her. I was saddened at the end when there was nothing I could do or say to make her stay. After killing the Archdemon I go to the celebration and when asked what I would do I said I would go out and search for Morrigan and my child. During the text versions of "where are they now" it got to the part about Morrigan and about how she had been spotted with a child. It also said there was a night where she was thinking about me and she was feeling regret and sorrow. It almost broke my heart, it seems to me that she didn't want to do what she did, but didn't have a choice. I just hope with some DLC that I can find out what happend to my love lost.

I understand that, but to flatly declare she's not into your PC, especially in my play through, just isn't correct.

She's definitely into you.

Video game characters aren't that good liars.

Nor does pretending benefit her at all, especially after you've performed her ritual.

And yeah, I just seen the 100 page thread, heh. Then again I kinda prefer this smaller one for now, I'm not too excited by the prospect of catching up with that beast of a conversation.

Oh yeah, I was responding the person above you that said it, not you. In the romance subplot with her, she definitely reciprocates the PC's feelings.
