I know it is early and we have no specs yet. But I am wondering if people who know about this stuff think we will need better stuff to run it. I hope not since I already had to upgrade to play DA:O.
So if I can run DA:O on my PC will I be able to run DA2?

No one knows at this point.
Chances are yeah you'll be fine. It looks like it uses the same engine.

Judging from the screen shots I think it is pretty likely.

It's likely you'll be able to, just don't expect the same level of performance. Both games use the same engine, but hopefully BioWare have tweaked it to be more efficient whilst also looking better

You know at this point I'll be pleasantly surprised if this is even made for the PC.

Copypasta them across, either by e-mailing them, burning them to disc, transferring over LAN/Network or portable device such as a USB memory stick or an external hard drive.Isabelle Mortello wrote...

I think they said they were improving the graphics. So if you had problems with some choppiness every now and again, it's probably safe to say that it might require a tiny update of hardware.

Dragon Age was terribly optimized and massive problems with CPU's.
I hope it's more stable as well as taking advantage of pc power.

With the graphics 'just so' on origins my laptop can only just cope without lagging, if the requirements go up at all I'm fudged, but then my laptop is held together with sellotape so it's about time I got a new one anyway.

Okay now I'm scared. I already have to run most things on low, and I don't see myself being able to afford an upgrade by March. Or a console.
Oh, man. I'm gonna go cry about this, now.
