In my opinion, only redeeming quality of Mass Effect 2 was the ability to import Shepherd from the original Mass Effect and continue your story.

Now we have this Mary Sue Hawke fellow taking the role as "the most important man in the history of everything" or some other equally stupid marketing line. So the question is...what happened to our wardens? Are they on holiday in Maui or something? Why even bother playing through Origins if Bioware is just going to drop it and its story like a sack of potatoes?

Bioware is..was..known for great story writing and continuity. What happened?

Because you enjoyed Origins? Is it worthless to play through any game if there is no sequel?

Oh and Mass Effect 2 had plenty of redeeming qualities.

because DAO is a great standalone game. The Dragon Age franchise was never advertised as persistent, so it should never be assumed to be persistent. I'm quite sure the lore of DA2 will be consistent with DAO but it will not pick up your story where DAO/A left off.

They are standalone games within the same intellectual property.

But if The Blight, the very same Blight that the warden was trying to stop was the reason that Hawke set out on his fairy tale adventure, wouldn''t that mean that the warden's actions would be mildy important to the story of the game?
