The Darkspawn army that attacked Lothering was the size of the one at Ostagar, how the heck could 2 wardens face of tens of thousands?
Doesn't stop idiots from complaining.

Well, holding the Warden responsible for the fall of Lothering is a bit much. There were only two of them.iTomes wrote...
Just having a thought there: could it be possible that hawke makes our warden responsible for the fall of lothering. maybe he thinks that our warden abbandoned lothering and that it -with the help of our warden- could have been hold. So he later could come back to ferelden for our warden. maybe a endfight old PC against new PC? what do u think??
However, if Hawke's father happened to be one of those farmers who tried to claim the bounty on Wardens, heh, he, heh....

maybe hawke could also hear (in lothering) that the wardens killed the king, and so he doesnt like wardens at all. or he knows our warden and finds him later being the arl of amaranthine. he could also hear that from nathaniel howe.

Don't bother Valmy. It's more mature at night then during the day.

There's no concept of night and day on the internet.
That aside... no need to bother, indeed...

unlike mass efect 1&2 i think you wont get bothered so much about the things you did as a warden.
Dragon age 2 will stand on it's own, or else they would have made a expansion like awakening.

Especially true given the amount of people from countries outside North America on these boards.

But back to OP, why? I can see a few points in Lothering to tie in with DA 2, the hungry peasant attack, the Warden accepting Chanter's board quests, and the initial bandit encounter. None of these should involve Hawke directly, except for the gossip about the Warden's being traitors and being the cause of the defeat at Ostagar.
Anyway Hawke's adventures are supposed to take place mainly in and around the Free Marches, I don't expect to see Ferelden again after the intro sequence.

I'm very interested in whether Flemeth mentions the Warden and his/her actions to Hawke though.

Yes, but he is responsible for taking away my Warden! No character could ever replace him/her! No new game or new story could ever be as good! It's impossible!
There are days when I think it's better to avoid reading things on the forums and just go back to work. This, evidently, is one of them.

I doubt Hawke even knew a Warden came to Lothering, and even if he did, he ran away, so he can't complain. And it's been confirmed that Hawke could have fought the darkspawn, but he chose to run and save his own skin.
That makes him/her more interesting than being forced into the Gray Wardens. Knowing the type of person I am, I would have done an “Exit Stage Left” the same way.

I think this post is even more disturbing than the one from the other dude who worships his warden...

Why not? I would guess everybody in Lothering knew (after the fight in the tavern at the very least) that there were two Wardens in Lothering. Unless he fled before the Warden arrived, he would know.
