Hawke - Enemy of our warden?

I think I'd let Hawke die in such final battle, after that turned off my PS3 and called it a day. Die, you bearded bastard...
I prefer any of my characters over this stupid bird... Or refugee, whoever he is.
Yes, but he is responsible for taking away my Warden! No character could ever replace him/her! No new game or new story could ever be as good! It's impossible!
Both extremes are silly.

Both extremes are silly.
<- dheer's posting ends here but somehow I don't get the quote level's to work for me.
Only that David didn't set a sarcasm emoticon
where it was obvious enough and this ^^^
isn't the complete quote.
Heck, there are days when you're more vulnerable
to allowing disliked postings to get to you
- he's no exception there.

That character...who you would define...and you know nothing about.

There are days when I think it's better to avoid reading things on the forums and just go back to work. This, evidently, is one of them.
Think of it as a credit to how great your writing of the Warden was.
Don´t think reaction would be so bad if the Warden´s got proper closure other then US. If anything involves DS or Old Gods the GW fit better IMHO, it´s like Jedi & Sith. If the main story is other then it´s OK, to me at least.

Bah, I'm sure there are alot of people cruising these forums that like myself are very excited to see new characters, better combat, and a new artstyle. Don't stop reading/responding just because the unjustifiably disgruntled members of the community are more vocal. (I say unjustifiably because we haven't been given enough information to form conclusions about anything yet.)
The Warden's story was enjoyable; as were most of the companions in DA:O. Personally though after 2.5 play throughs at 40+ hours a go, i'm ready for something new. So far I like the new art direction, haven't seen much of the environments yet but the characters look much more visually appealing to me then they did in DA:O (at least on the 360 version that I played).
I'm excited to see the new characters (especially the female romance options for male Hawke!) and even more excited to see these new rigs in action. The character models (especially female models) in DA:O were not very appealing. Some of them were flat out ugly in my opinion.
I liked the combat in DA:O, it reminded me of the old Baldur's Gate series of games where Bioware made it's name. It didn't translate over to the console very well though and I had to find a ways to get past encounters without using party-wide tactics. Hopefully the new combat system works better without losing the RPG feel.
Keep on trucking through this stuff Dave. I look forward to reading Mary and your posts. I'm always craving more info on Bioware games and your posts enrich the discussions and ultimately make my day go by faster.
Which is a blessing because my job is beyond boring!

Yes take it as a compliment on your previous work and a comment on humankind's innate fear of the unknown. Or something. That's what I'd do.

Honestly, I don't understand how you can deal with us. I worked a few days in a day care and I wouldn't have been able to deal with the crying and such on a day by day basis.

Ummm, it's all worth it when we walk up to him with shining eyes and sticky faces and say "Fwenz?"?

Hey I can only account for my own actions. Who knows what those other guys do in their spare time.

Well, since the meeting would consitute Hawke cutting his throoat cut by my Warden and the following words being the last he heard, "Since you didn't shave, I decided I'd help you and oops, I cut a little low. Die you spot light stealing bastard."
Followed by a gurgling, slow Hawke death.
Then, there was much rejoicing.

When I play DA2, I'm actually going to roleplay each Hawke as if to be a counter to each Warden. Example: my one mage Warden from DAO, I roleplayed to be a Chantry/Circle loyalist, so in DA2 I'm gonna make HER respective Hawke the antithesis: a Blood-mage or at least Libertarian
