Also, anyone know if the infinite Paragon/Renegade trick as detailed in the wiki still works?

Basically you were a renegade. you killed Shiala, Rana, the Rachni Queen, the same sex as your character, and the council and elected Udina as the head of the all human council no side
quests just important missions.
You can't have chosen Udin asince that isn't carried over from ME1, hence Miranda's question after project Lazarus.

Actually, does anyone know what happens when she asks you the question about Anderson/Udina and you get it wrong? Does the game actually change it, or does Miranda tell you that you got it wrong?

IIRC she just goes straight from telling you that the council was killed to how udina was elected, no mention at all that you had a say in itResidentNoob wrote...

She never says "you're wrong" because the game had no way of recording your final decision (since you can't save after defeating Sovereign. The only reason they ask you who you chose is because the game doesn't know. Therefore, whatever you answer is what the game will go with. I always picked Anderson at the end, but I answered Udina in one of my ME2 playthroughs and she just said, "That's right. Ambassador Udina is now Counselor Udina..." blah, blah, blah. So, keep that in mind.

KFD, you can just go to Mass Effect Saves and find one that fits you're play style. The only choices that sincerely matter tend to be obvious, and there should be a few saves for each possible outcome. Then if you want to change little bits about the save file's character (e.g. Name, Hairstyle) you can use Gibbed's Save Editor, which makes it very easy to change any plot flags.The_KFD_Case wrote...
Way to go BioWare. The possible LAMEST "default" choices were carried over to ME2 from ME1. Since my hard drive recently choked, and I got a new one, I now face the unenviable choice of playing the whole damn game again, or accepting a set of default choices that completely kill my interest in ME2 and the future outcomes in ME3. Since I've already lost two DVD drives to the type of SecuROM that ME1 STILL comes bundled with for the PC, I won't be installing that game again....Guess that means I'll be watching the end of ME3 thanks to YouTube. Good job fellas! Way to treat your previously loyal customer base....Idiots.
You'll still have to play through ME2 again to get a save ready for ME3. But it won't likely release soon; even if you don't feel like playing again right now, you'll have time

About the SecuROM, try a digital version of the game, try Origin. Btw, you already have a answer for the "save problem stuff". Good Luck! :-) Don't Give up Mass Effect 3, is gonna be GREAT!

Unfortunately, it seems most newbies don't give a damn, so its either "Look away," or "Give 'em **** for it."
I personally, am a fan of number two.
