I mean, on this forums is just a small group of core fan-boys (me being part of it) who are against any change. The best thing would be just new story at level of first DA:O, couple new origins, new class and one/two more specialisation per class. But thats everything a mod can offer.
It isnt like this out of the forums. A lot of my friends, despite my arguing with them, find combat too uninteractive (well they wont go past normal difficultity). Couldnt roleplay the character. etc...
From my point of view, weve get new amazing story set in Dragon Age universe with a bit different principes.
At the end, we will end up with two different games. One, old school rpg, second more modern more action rpg. And im fine with it, since it gives more options how to be part of the universe.
And since witcher, I do enjoy more action combat.

For Bioware to actually change something they announce about a game from our whining. I mean if you look at any board on here it is all fire and brimstone. Made me think just how bad out ****ing would have to get before they started taking us seriously.
only after low sales will they think about their past faults, no chance they do it before they lose cash on huge disappointment and no buyers and increased piracy

Taking you seriously?! Hahaha, don't make me laugh. You think Bioware actually gives a crap about people like you? Bioware aint stupid; they know damn well how they want their games and these pathetic cries for attention mean nothing for them. In the end, 95% of these people are still gonna buy AND enjoy it.

It's EA, if the sales are low and/or there's rampant piracy they just won't make another one, they don't do introspection.

Considering we know nothing about the game, it doesn't matter if we got everyone in the world to sign a petition to change something we are only assuming is there, it ain't happening.

lol did you read the post? I was just wondering how bad it would have to get since people already are crying the end of the world. I know Bioware dose not look at message boards for ideas. Hell I was here before Dragon Age: Origins even came out. You would think DA:O was the worst game ever made by all the posts back then. Thats why I said just how bad would it really need to get. sheesh.

I would hope they listen to good points people make but without an accurate survey they should not make decisions based on vocal minorities without first confirming it is in fact a vocal majority.

There were companies that produced good games before being bought by EA...but not a single good EA game comes to mind.
Dragon Age: Origins? Or did you hate it and just come to post here anyway?

Oblivion is not that different from the other Elder Scrolls games and those are PC.

Bioware wasn't always owned by EA.
Have they yet to come out with a bad one since joining? You over estimate EA's influence.

The forums will always be full of complaining more than anything else, mostly because those that are content or enjoying the game simply don't care or are already having fun with whatever BioWare has released. I really doubt you'd ever see them make any sort of drastic change just due to forum complaints.. I mean one way or the other they're going to make a significant amount of money regardless of what they release, so why bother?
I think their history actually shows they DO make changes based on forum feedback. They have ever since they very first opened these forums. They wouldn't have forums at all if they did not have some value to the company.

Will you stop these retarded assumptions that quality of games have something to do with platform? If anything, best quality games are usually console-exclusives. Any "dumbing down" people are referring to is done to sell game to a wider audience, including PC players who don't like complex RPGs.Rubbish Hero wrote...
