Just because it's a continuation of a great game, with a good story, and a bunch of Lore.
And I also like the changes, because I'm glad they're not rehashing the same stuff for the sequel. I am also in the minority when I say I'm glad they got rid of the origins. Because for one, there wouldn't be that many unique origins left to pick, except for Human Commoner(which this games characters origin basically is), Apostate, ect.
I'm also glad that we're not grey wardens fighting off another blight, because that'd be boring. But there are still dark spawn to kill.

But yes. Just stating my opinion.
Can't wait.

I also can't wait, having to read dialogue options was boring, and I hated having to make choices. This way I can do something else while the game plays itself!

Good lord, how will you play DA2 then. I mean, you know you must read the dialogue option you are going to pick. Of course you could do it randomly. But come to think of it, so could you in Dragon Age 1.:P

Yeah man having someone read the lines after you choose them totally takes away the freedom of choice in the game.

It isn't a continuation. Its a standalone title. It is not related to your character/mission in DA:O. In fact if I recall correctly, there is no darkspawn in the game.

Maybe BioWare wants to make a Final Fantasy franchise where each sequel is its standalone title

There is very little that Bioware could do to stop me from being excited for this game.

Well, we've already seen an orgre and things that look like they could be darkspawn, though it's not sure at this point. I think it's safe to say there will be darkspawn, I just hope their role in the story is marginal. I've had enough darkspawn to cointend  with in DAO.
