Hey,

i was wondering for those tank spec'd warriors, which specializations did you go with?  I'd guess champion is a nice one but how about secondary? Beserker rage would be nice for extra threat, reaver for health leach and additional damage/threat, and  templar would be nice for some anti-mage capabilities.

Opinions?

Reaver. You get + to phys resist and you get a pretty sick ability that works as a pretty potent health pot after a few people have died. Just too bad you have to ruin the ashes quest to get it. Do what I did though, save, ruin the ashes, go outside, get reaver, reload. Also templar is a good companion specialty. Since you're always in the thick of everything and not retreating like Alistar might have to, you can keep the mana drained on the caster mobs by keeping up your auto attack at all times.

Reaver/Champion seems ideal.

Templar is better suited to offensive warriors along with Beserker.

I went with champion/berserker and I don't know if I really needed berserker... I think templar might have been more useful. I got the dragonscale armor from the smith in Denerim and mobs that do physical damage are a total joke while mages can still be a real pain.

Berserker is cool for the extra damage and all, but I don't think I really needed it. I didn't get reaver for the reason stated above. Leliana and Wynne are constantly in my party so I couldn't go through with breaking the urn.

I went Templar/Champion, as I found later in the game all I did was Blizzard/Quake then AoE on my Tank to hold the mobs, so using the Warcry Knockdown and the Templar AoE really helps with that. Biggest issue was my Stamina with Shield Wall/Threatening/Rally up at all times.

I chose for my tank the templar/champion specs. Sword and board (champion) and to minimize the enemy mages (templar). I have to say that so far at level 18 there is nothing i fear or in any quantity.

I hold the team in one place run ahead, collect up a bunch of stuff, drag it all back to the party, taunt and turn everybody loose, works like a charm.  On those occasions where i have to kill a mage  and they have all thier AOE buffs up the cleansing spell just bends them over.
