Possibly 'no issues reported that would require us to fix them and then send the patch in for certification again'. Or, for a darker option, 'issues reported that requires us to fix them before sending in the patch for certification again'.Pubknight wrote...
since they have been updating weekly for the past few weeks?
though if it's a certification thing they are waiting on, I don't know how much of an update it could be.
i.e. Update - "Still waiting"

I'd bet on early August. It's Microsoft/Sony certification that's holding it up now.
The patch is ready for PC's and probably already sitting on the FTP servers ready for the "green light".
Don't see a reason why they wait with PC release of patch for Microsoft/Sony certification...
They should have released HOTFIX for PC long time ago to fix the crash issues. Holding back PC critical issue just because of missing PS/XBOX certificates is just stupid...

What about the PS3 owners that have framerate problems, and have had them since release? If you're going to be fair, they should have gotten a fix well before this as well.

That'd still require the patch to be sent off to Sony for certification, though. Since that apparently takes more than a week, they might as well make a larger patch in the first place, rather than a hotfix.ladydesire wrote...

The game is big on steam so no doubt the patch is going through their certification as well.

Again, it's debatable how great Steam's quality control is since they had no problems allowing patch 1.03 to slip through the net. 360 and PS3 are forgiven since they're not prone to the same crashes that the PC version suffers from. If Steam does indeed have a patch certification process, it's probably just another exercise in time wasting.
