I find it ridiculous that they claim the patch will take a few more weeks because of 'QA' testing. Certainly didn't put much QA into the last one, now did they? Geez...

I find it odd that they won't fix the bug where the Ancient Elven Boots don't appear without a mod. Personally, I'm no good at the editor's for games but would still like to see the things that were supposed to be there, like the items in the Kokari Wilds, drop like they should. IE- the Magic Greatsword.

Bows have been broken since day one because of the dex bug on consoles, the damage modifier should be 50% str(cun with lethality) and 50% dex, adding dex does nothing at all right now. It worries me that only daggers are listed on the patch notes as well, nine months waiting to make a pure archer that doesn't hit like a b*tch is quite disappointing, and yes archers are more powerful in the expansion, but I have no interest in it until the main game is working properly.

It is. I re-edired many of the items on the list, and that one inadvertantly dropped off. But I put it back in. Thanks for noticing!

I would like to know this as well and if they are ever going to fix crossbows? they currently only do like 12 damage.

are you sure all bows are gimped on consoles? I am pretty sure that shortbows are messed, but think longbows are fine. Crossbows are messed as well.

I played an archer on PS3 and the longbow didnt seem that bad, however, was pissed that Shale's rock mastery actually made my archer shoot slower.

EDIT - Oh yeah, what happened to the double haste bug? Wasn't that on the list before?

I was ONLY asking. No need to get antsy. Going through loads of posts takes a while, and the way some people were talking it seemed as if it were out and didn't meet expectations. I don't actullay have wireless, so the time I get to go online with dragon age has to be arranged (I go round someones house). When I was last online, SOMETHING updated and I wasn't sure if it was that patch or not? I was just making sure, as I have to arrange to go onto dragon age servers.

At the very least, people need to click on the "Bioware" logo under each thread so they can filter all the developer posts out.  Read those first, then go back and look at all the garbage everyone else is posting...

Victor post dose answer the question granted. But this patch has gotten on every ones Last Nerve and after all this time is it a wonder that some do not bother to check page 1 of of three threads back then thread 2 then page 1 of thread 3? To discover it on thread 3 or it it 4 as the first post.

What I am trying to say is people chill out. There is no reason to get antsy with each other.
Let not start flaming over stupid None patch crap like Forum Protocol.
We are friends here and Gamers all so chill guys.

The forum Is Indeed Getting Antsy. If not damd right rude as a whole.

Forum Protocol exists to keep heads cool and polite and if the letter of the law is kept at the expense of the spirit of the law then it's pointless.

So every one please lets dial it back a bit.

As the thread a bit to important to degenerate into a Flame war.

I hate people who don't use grammar and correct/good spelling. It seems lazy or stupid on their part. Especially when they can't spell "does" correctly. But sometimes they're from a different country so these mistakes are acceptable at times. Oh wait. This isn't a discussion on our opinions on the forums and people who post on them. No this is a conversation about the upcoming patch!

I get what you're saying, but coming to the thread on the upcoming patch, and intentionally skipping the patch update post, is a little daft.  I would have thought that the first (and perhaps only post, considering the trolling and flaming that occurred in the previous threads,)  you would read would be from bioware about the patch. If it was a question someone else had already asked, with an answer that wasn't in the opening post, I would agree with you
completely.
