I'm sure you're going to get about seven of these in a row but if you want game play like Baldur's Gate, then play Baldur's Gate. Stagnation in game play is one of the things that kills series

I hope that's correct. I really enjoyed the tactical combat style of Origins. The only problem with it was that once you got used to it, it becomes too easy. The difficulty curve could have been a little steeper, or it needed a level over nightmare. That's about it, though.
(What the hell was all that crap I just had to delete from that quote? Dude, don't ever do that again.)

Guys, those of you that have DA collectors edition. watch the making of, feel their passion... especially Laidlaw's and realize, there's no way they would butcher the tactical combat. they seem too passionate about that. I'm at ease now, i seriously can't see how they would allow it to be lost.
