So I've been hearing that Game Informer says we will see Flemeth in the game. I don't know about the rest of you, but I killed her in the first game. So the only way for her to return is to posses another body. Which got me thinking, what if she posses the God-child? Would any you feel a little sick to your stomach that you've fathered Flemeth? Or is that just me?

Definitely some interesting thoughts on DA2.

Well, to be honest we don't know much about Flemeth either: for all we know she herself is the result of an earlier "Dark Ritual". Doesn't seem too far-fetched considering her apparent immortality. I suppose that would make her motive either to 'free' her kind and let them be reborn or taking over the body and soul of another Old God reborn, the former leading to a group able to conquer Thedas and the Fade, the latter to a single entity.

No, you didn't kill her. You simply destroyed her body. The game made it very clear that Flemeth would assume a new form and come after Morrigan again. She is far too powerful to be killed that easily.

lemme guess..the big thing of DA2 will be...

Morrigan has the godbaby..it's a girl..

OOOOOOH flemeth returns...as morrigan hinted that "killing" her may not have actually "killed" her....

so instead of possessing morrigan..she goes after the godchild....maybe this was her plan?

So lemme guess...if it's Flemeth....she becomes the biggest threat...ancient psycho nutjob half-demon/abomination merged with an oldgod.......and here comes Hawke (****ing ****** name...does he summon eidolons?)....to take her down...

is Kafka around too? or Sephiroth?

If they went that route, it's too totally obvious and even more of a let down than what little info we've gotten so far.

Forgot about Seph. Maybe he's returned and more feminized.:D
Image IPB

That would mean they threw Mass Effect, DA, and a dash of FF into the blender to come up with a new game.

The god child isn't guaranteed to have come about. You can turn Morrigan away.

Christ.

But she could have seduced another one of the other Wardens.

WE can always say she did the alternative ritual take the god soul from your body right after you die going through the fade or something.

Everything seems to imply that this continuity is retconned in favor of the one in which the Dark Ritual takes place.

Then you wouldn't have died...

If you kill the Archdemon the normal way, both the Warden's and the Archdemon's are said to be destroyed in the process. It would be safe to say that neither goes to the Fade.

I'm calling it: Morrigan in the Godchild's Body (via Flemeth's grimoire)

I've heard though that it's "confirmed" Morrigan will play no role in the game whatsoever... so if that's true, then it's Flemeth in the Godchild's body.

For the last time, the game doesn't take place ten years after Dragon age, it takes place over the course of ten years! Get it right!

Flemeth is old and smelly, we dwarves (particularly the ones with thick beards and staches) have no problem dealing with such stench. Maybe the godchild will be a pro at making spirits? :P

Besides, I want to be my own grandpa. Yeah. Think about that one.

I've been thinking for a while that it was her plan all along to do just that.
