Well, yeah, because apparently we re still Gray Wardens.

I thought Clou..I mean Squa...I mean...**** what was it again? oh yah "Hawke" was just a survivor...not a warden.

for ****s sake don't make us be goddamn wardens again....

you're...well..you WERE..better then that Bio.

Unless that was a joke, you need to chill. I'm quite sure Shavon is misinformed.

I'm pretty sure he was reffering to BioWare.

i'm pretty sure it still wouldn't hurt to take it down a notch

You must know a different BioWare.

yeah dude my bad i was thinking "GladWare" this whole time

It's a common mistake. I'll let it slide this time.

We are also jumping in odd positions. But hey, I think our hair moves... oh, darkspawn impute. Right. Well, I think darkspawn are always going to be part of the game. They one thing we might be able to do without is stuck with us. I personally thought there was going to be something with the Qunari.

The Wiki says all of the nations save for Tevinter have a peace agreement with the Qunari. I don't think the Qunari would be eager to wage wars on several fronts against several nations unless something happens to the Tevinter Imperium.

So... who will be the more generic enemy to fight Dragon Age 2?

Incompetent nameless Darkspawn or incompetent nameless Bandits?

Darkspawn were always going to still be around. That doesn't mean that they'll be the main adversary faction. They could just be like, say, kobolds in BG2.

Well, the character is at Lothering during the Darkspawn attack and flees to the Free Marches to escape the Blight. So Darkspawn near the beginning of the game seems likely.

Darkspawn are big apart of Setting, I'm pretty sure they will always have a role in the series, even if it is a reduced role depending on which story needs to be told.

It makes sense for Darkspawn to still be around, but without an Archdemon, they're just sort of wandering around in packs and not nearly the nuisance they are when organized. So instead of running into massive wolfpacks, imagine "oh, a pack of Darkspawn. How quaint."

Darkspawn? I'm fine with them. The disciples were pretty cool.

But for the love of God, do not force me to be a Warden again.

I'd rather have the Wardens be the main antagonist faction for a good part of the game.

Well if the Darkspawn have a leader and we fight him, I hope he is an actual Darkspawn, is actually intelligent, (so he has some depth) and we see him throughout the story, instead of knowing nothing about him until we fight him.

Also, make him look like an actual Darkspawn. I mean seriously... the Architect looked nothing like one.

They came, and started a war that lasted 100 years.

I believe they ARE eager for war.

Every rpg needs to have its trademarks. I hope that the series doesn't someday abandon darkspawn and dragons altogether and basically only share the title of the game. Dragon fights=awesome!

There are two remaining old gods to slay out of the seven, and if Bioware does want to move away from darkspawn at some point, I hope that we get to at least finish them off first.

I'm hoping we meet more darkspawn like the architect and the commanders. This would definitely make for a hell of an enemy. Something worth killing. I would also like the chance to get a good picture of the black city.

I'm sure we'll kill more humans than darkspawns, just like Awakening.
