That may just be the background.Gill Kaiser wrote...
You're right. The lady is either Morrigan herself or another of Flemeth's daughters, I'll wager.ell46 wrote...
I must be missing something, my understanding of this new game is that it begins while the blight is still on,
Quote: As the Grey Warden from Dragon Age: Origins was fighting darkspawn, Hawke was living in Lothering.
The game spans only 10 years so if it begins while the blight is still on this doesn't add up for me, any demon baby isn't even going to be 10 years old yet.
Couldn't this just be a case of over analysing an nice piece of art work?
Like human noble you do not begin your life as a child learning about your family history. You start it by meeting duncan the guy who changes your life.
ALl is says is that when our grey warden was fighting darkspawn hawke was in lothering.THey could just make a mention of this in the intro when you start a new game. Then start you off somewhere else in the future.Sort of like fable except instead of playing around as a child your jsut told about and skipped ot being an adult. So it can mean that morrigan had a babe.I imagine the difference in age between morrigans kid and Hawke would be less than ten years assuming he was a kid in lothering. She may not be friendly.

Flemeth's appearance has been confirmed, so I'd say that the child of Morrigan is indeed involved in this mess.
However, we can import a savegame from DAO. During Origins, the Warden could have denied Morrigan's proposition, so I'd say that this is indeed Flemeth and not the child, because there is a possibility that the child hasn't been concieved at all.
Or, you know, this could be Sandal.

My bet: it's Sandal.
My best bet: it's Sandal's and Flemeth's daughter. Sandal. One night with Flemeth does that to you. At least it was enchanting sex.

What if the mystery girl is Morrigan? Or Flemigan, Morrigan possessed by Flemeth?

- Flemeth
- Morrigan
- Daughter of Morrigan
- Sister of Morrigan
Also, I wonder if she will appear much more different in her in-game form than in concept art? Do you guys think she will be one of the first recruited characters?

Anyone else notice that while her left arm is talon-like, Hawke's right arm on the GI cover is also talon-like?

Interesting. I've also thought it's Morrigan's daughter, but one of Bioware people here told us that we will be literally shocked when we'll find out who this girl is.
Andraste. Yay for more plotholes! But seriously, I'd be shocked if they manage to work that in the story.

I thought that at first, but looking closer it's not so clear. The concept art is rough but I don't see any cuff to this gauntlet and it is similar to some of the darkspawn claws below him.Ekyri wrote...
Hawke's talonarm is actually part of his armour, you can clearly see that it is mechanical.

Nope.Old gods with darkspawn equal archdemon.Keep them seperate and you can have both old gods and darkspawn.Heavenblade wrote...
When old gods go a-raidin' with darkspawn hordes, it's called a blight, isn't it? or am I completely wrong here?
