I thought that at first, but looking closer it's not so clear. The concept art is rough but I don't see any cuff to this gauntlet and it is similar to some of the darkspawn claws below him.Ekyri wrote...
Hawke's talonarm is actually part of his armour, you can clearly see that it is mechanical.
If you look close you can see his thumb under the claw ,so its armor.

- The "girl" in the art doesn't look particularly youthfull or appealing in any way (the body might, but we all know every woman young or old has the same body in the DA world
- It was speculated by morrigan in DA:O that flemeth was some kind of abomination and it might be that the physical manifestation of that is more apparent on her new body. (speculation obviously)
- Flemeth is also the only woman we associate with a dragon, since she can turn into one.
- Added to that we are given the hint that flemeth will return in DA2.
- Flaw with Morrigan's demon/god-child being that a lot of people refused to do the ritual. Telling us that it happens anyway would be a serious let down.
There, I've succeeded in convincing myself.

Are we all forgetting that another Grey Warden by the name of Riordan was staying at Redcliffe Castle that night as well?
Morrigan had a mission to accomplish and I wouldn't put it past her to sneak into Riordan's quarters that night and seduce him, or convince him, or even mind control him into sleeping with her.
We already have confirmation that Flemeth is going to be in the game, so i think it's obvious that Morrigan will be in it as well. They will make ways for her to have the child if you didn't make that choice.

The Warden that conceived her child will also have to kill the Archdemon personally for the ritual to succeed. As obvious side effect, they will not die while doing so.Arius23 wrote...
Just because you/Alistair/Logain didn't sleep with Morrigan doesn't mean she didn't conceive a child that night.

That would really be freaky, the child being your dead warden

I don't think that's true. You can have Alistair do the DR with Morrigan and then kill the Archdemon yourself, and Morrigan doesn't have a problem with that. It's the dark magic that Morrigan does that allows the foetus to act as a beacon for the Archdemon's soul. That could still happen with Riordan's baby.Phinub wrote...

Interesting, so you don't die when you kill the thing but someone else did the ritual?Gill Kaiser wrote...

Cool, i guess it is possible then for it/her being morrigan's child. I'd still feel cheated if it was though.Gill Kaiser wrote...
You do not. I killed the Archdemon with my female noble and she still lived to become queen of Ferelden.

It can be easily explained.
Not like in awaikenings where you may have chosen the final solution but your character can keep having an adventure like nothing happened.... Now that was messed up, I think

Where the hand is near the head looks sort of like a dragon head. the dark smoke looks almost like wings.

- Will see the consequences of our actions sooner instead of a little text at the end of the game
- PC version’s combat system the same for the most part:

Will this mean, we'll be seeing our warden with companions walking around? This would be cool. My guess, we'll have to kill Flemeth again as the Hawk, or the mystery girl is your female hawk.

Since Flemeth is in, Morrigan probably is probably still relevant to the DA uinverse whether she plays into DA2 or not. So she's a candidate.
Andraste was thought to be the high dragon by the cultists in Dragon Age. Their belief was false. But it may have been rooted in something real. So Andraste's a candidate for the dragon lady.
Flemeth is rumored to have other daughters. So one of those could be in the Free Marches and play into the larger Dragon Age story.
What about Morrigan's child? Also possible but might require fast maturation depending on when the ten-year span starts and if that ten years incorporates Lothering.
The Andraste idea is intersting. But the witchy wardrobe on the woman suggests Flemeth, Morrigan and Some-Other-Flemeth-Daughter are still the main candidates.
If it's Flemeth, we might see Morrigan with God Baby oppose Flemeth. If you talk to Flemeth about betraying Morrigan, Flemeth chuckles about how Morrigan has tried to get men to play along with her schemes in the past. So Morrigan and Flemeth being locked in some kind of greater conflict that involves demons and dragons isn't out of the question.
