Male: Vin Diesel (Sorry, but I love the character of Riddick and if Hawke is sort of a loner to me it would be perfect) or
           Jason Mimoa (Ronin Dex from Stargate Atlantis) 

Female: Rachel Lutrell (Tela from Stargate Atlantis)

Female - An unknown, but hopefully not the deep voice of female shepherd, i didn't like that

lol I think you already know this, but for everyone else, Carren Learning is Jennifer Hale ( female shepherd), except in Metal Gear Solid 1, she used a fake name as Carren Learnig ( all the voice acters used fake names in MGS1 except David Hayter, she voiced Naomi).

I love the man, truly, but I'd spend the entire game going, "Wait...why is Rodney McKay in Thedas?"

And that's kind of the problem with getting a "name" to voice a character that's supposed to be mine. Even if Bioware could afford Jason Isaacs, I know his voice well enough that it would completely break immersion for me. It's one thing to giggle about Captain Janeway being Vala's mother, and something else entirely to wonder why my character sounds like some other character.

Now this...I could see that. Jason has a pleasant voice, but there's nothing particularly distinctive about it. Sadly, I seriously doubt that a) he's got time between now and March of 2011 and that Bioware could afford him at the moment.

Rachel, however, would be awesome. She wouldn't immediately ping as Teyla, either, unless they decided that Hawke never uses contractions.

Actually, since we have to have the fully-voiced PC, I wouldn't mind Greg Ellis as male Hawke. He's versatile enough that I wouldn't have known he was both Anders and Cullen if no one had told me.



For women...just not Kath Soucie. I almost put the sound on mute last night after hearing Marjolaine say "vewwwy pwwwetty" for the eighth or ninth time.

Great suggestions! I could definitely see all of those people voicing Hawke quite well, especially Vin Diesel - then I'd probably have a male as my first and main Hawke because I just love Vin Diesel's voice.
