I want to be on a quest to kill a group of High Dragons up in the mountains then when i get there i find all but one of them dead with Sandal fighting the last one. He promptly eviscerates it and offers me its intestines and says "Enchantment?"

That.Would.Be.Awesome.
But unliky , when the Dragon's see Sandal they will flee in terror.

Sandal probably got 'simple' as Bodahn called him because of Lyrium poisening, wich probably give him the side effects of Lyrium folding and insane strenght.

And please, don't say retarderd it realy hurts those kids with dissabileties

Also does anyone think we will see Bodahn again?

I mean he said something about "Searching ruins for items once this Blight is over".

So if he survived the darkspawn attack (probably leaving Sandal behind) we might see him again in some ruin in the Free Marches?

Dwarves aren't known to be mages but maybe the lyrium poisoning uh..made him to be one? It'd suck for a demon to try and take over him.

Sandal: Enchantment?

Demon: Shut up already!

Sandal: Enchantment!

I imagine if you can trace magic runes out of lyrium you can do quite a lot of other magical stuff with it without having a talent for spell casting. You see something similar in forgotten realms settings with gnomes using magic to fuel technology. For all we know the kid can make high explosives out of lyrium, I mean, why not, the game features stones with the power of elements.

By the way do you ( or any one else know ) how those runes get in the blade? Does Sandal puts them in sockets in the weapon, or does he draw power out of the rune and then carves it in the weapon?

Sandal is the most one dimensional character in the entire game. I'm surprised people enjoy such a limited character that much. No dialogue ability and very iffy abilities. Besides if Sandal was so badass how come he just stood by when the Grey Warden met Bodahn?

I dislike him but I'm clearly in the minority here.

Maybe he didn't want his father to know what powers he had.

That's what all the mystery with him is about. His... enchanting nature, so to say :)

Sandal rules. DA:O's Chuck Norris in disguise as a retard. I just love him. Hope he's in DA2 ^^

Maybe they will release "Enchanting Story" DLC which will allow the player to find the truth behind Sandal. Who knows?

Sandal shows up in a cameo sporting Duncan's beard in a cave full of dead high dragons. Enchantment?

Cavegeta, no matter how awesome that sounds we all know that so much epicness can not be handeld in one game.

True.  And that is the reason it would have to be done as a cameo in an almost Easter egg type fashion, possibly a dream sequence.  This should be what inspires Hawke to become the Champion of Kirkwall.

A camoe could work, still not sure if the PC's and consoles could handle it though...

Didn't you guys see the meteor with the two old people?

Sandal is clearly superman as a toddler. He flew around Thedas really fast and reversed time to before you found the meteor. You know, just for kicks.

Sandal, as it is popularly accepted is the Maker.

In Divine 9:50 the Chantry convenes to debate his Maker-ship. 3 minutes later they unanimously disagree.

Divine 9:50: 5 minutes later, Maker (Sandal) turns his back on the world once more. He eats a cabbage

Divine 9:50: Half an hour later, there is a booming noise, and a single word is heard by all the people on the Planet, who know that the Maker doth speak unto them... "ENCHANTMENT!" Suddenly the world is covered by a strange, smelly fog. The Chantry declares this to be a new kind of Blight, a punishment by the Maker for having turned from Him again. Cabbage eating is banned henceforth and any Nation that tries to produce cabbages has an Exalted March declared against it. This is later written into the Chant as the Third Sin. Sandal.err.. I mean...the Maker.. is the proud of the cloud and names is Larry.

actually, sandal is NOT the maker. sandal just is Fen'Harel, who likes to trick innocent people with an important fate and helps them completing it, for reasons nobody really understands.

now the important question is: was this post serious??

So Hawke's rises to power by defeating Larry, a cloud so dangerous that people rather have another Blight?
Sounds plauseble to me.
