Does that mean we might see characters from the previous game? And if it happens over 10 years then it might start from part way through the first one and carry on past that point. Meaning we could see characters not only during the original timeline but afterwards.

People say that we don't... but I think we don't know yet. We just know Hawke is from Lothering, which says all, yet nothing.

All possible, I guess. The article did stress it would be events we recognize from a different perspective, but that doesn't mean we won't get to see some familiar faces.



Still, if the Warden and Hawke have no relationship to each other, it's hard to believe that your LIs or other companions from the first one will figure into the 2nd very much. Like, why would we get to see what happens to them afterward if our character has nothing to do with them?

It'd be cool if the epilogue's escape from Lothering were playable. After all, in DA:O we didn't actually see the fall of Lothering, so they could do what they want with it.

I definately think it would be pretty neat to have the game open up with that impending sense of "We're doomed!" that was in Lothering but didn't really impact the Warden since he was just passing through basically. Could be neat if handled well.

It would be awesome if your save-games were used to have cameo of your warden in Lothering before the invasion. Perhaps having Hawke watch the tavern fight where you get Leliana.

I think somewhere in the five things about Hawke it said something like the past was explained in the present or something.

for the lothering part i hope we will see familiar faces...for teh rest..i doubt we will see that many...

The best part about them starting is lothering is the level has already been created. You guys are just cheap! lol, JK! Going to run now and hope no designers notice this comment.
