too bad that we can't play our warden in DA2: "2 wardens against an entire blight? this is madness!"

You know what, I don't care what they do as long as I get to kick someone down a bottomless pit yelling THIS IS KIRKWALL.

Yeah, that would be sweet.  Unfortunately, Bioware's implementation proved to be underwhelming.  You actually just get to kick a guy into a mud puddle who splashes around screaming "This is madness!  This is madness!"

Naah, what they would do is have Queen Anora scream "THIS IS FERELDEN!!!!" prior to kicking Hawke off the Fort Drakon rooftop.

Everyone then has a reaction similar to this:

I vote for this, the surreal nature of the scene you have envisaged is quite hilarious and I am still laughing

i only hope ull get an opportunity to actually LEAD an army. i mean in DA1 u became the hero of ferelden, ended the blight, led the armies and didn't do one tactical choice. it was like "all soldiers wether archer warrior or mage rush in denerim NOW and friggin kill anything ugly you see (unless its a dwarf, they're currently on ur side)"

All of these things would make me happy with the game, especially the facepalming. Can we get facepalming npcs in the game too? Oh, I also want a pony.

Edit: A customizable pony, where I get to pick it's race and maybe dye it's hair.

Anyone else amazed at how much people hate DA 2 even though we know absolutely nothing about it. And I'm going to name my pony Eric.

Capping darkspawn from a couple hundred yards with a sniper rifle. I'd play it.

Giving support/casting classes polearm skills-- something borrowed from NWN druids, I'd reckon.

And folks love Spartans-- if you are uncreative, it's like most of your marketing is already done for you.

forget giving support classes polearms. I'd actually play a fighter/warrior with a spear over other weapons any day.

The whole "command like a general" thing makes me think that a war we may have direct involvement in is going to be a focal point of the story.

"fight like a spartan" hopefully just means more streamlined/brutal combat while still keeping true to the d20 style combat we already have, which thankfully was confirmed for the PC

God dammit! You beat me too the joke. Yes now we shall fight in a very effective Phalanx with an army of Spartan's! It will be utterly tedious to watch as all we will do is stand still and thrust spears! On a serious note, I hope the think like a general line implies we will eventually become generals and manage a long military campaign! Dragon Age 2: Total War anyone?

Oh that would be brilliant
"M'lord and ladies. Too long have we stood by as the decadent Orlesians spread there grasp around Thedas. We must act...and quickly. I will summon an army and we will put every Orlesian swine to the Sword!!!"

But of course!

With bland dialogue and everything!
