Wait, what? The Qunari are currently settled in Par Vollen, which, by my recollection, is not under Tevinter rule. Also, it is not exactly their homeland. As clearly stated in the game, they arrived from a land located somewhere across the Amaranthine Ocean.

Yup. Par Vollen is a colony and a staging area for their campaigns in Thedas. Nothing more.

I thought I remembered Sten saying something of not having ever seen his homeland (can't find the convo anywhere, though >_>), and it was my understanding the Tevinter played a role there... I know the qunari got pushed back to the islands in any case (and hate hate HATE the Imperium).

"My home has been under attack by the mage-lords of Tevinter for all my lifetime."

(So 'liberate' was perhaps not the most ideal choice of words there)

In any case, my dislike for the Imperium rivals that of my feelings for the Chantry. xD
