does anyone know if we are still gonna have light armor, medium armor, heavy armor, and massive armor? and are we go have different weapons like DAO?

You can pick character class, so there will probably be different weapon types and armor tiers. Wouldn't make sense otherwise.

Since you can be a Rogue, Mage or Warrior type, I'd strongly assume there will be different types of armour and weapons to correspond to different fighting styles, but nothing clearly stated just yet.

Well Dragon Effect is still an RPG thankfully, so yes I assume there will be armor and weapon choices. After all Hawke from the screenshots seems to be wearing light armor compared to Hawke on the cover art.

Oh god, I just hope there's a wider selection of leather armours and ESPECIALLY mage robes. With the supposed alteration of visual style, I'm sure Bioware's artists and modellers can come up with some spectacular robes. Please!

i hope so...i just don't want to get stuck using the same armor/weapon for the rest of the game.

Err, I just hope it won't be the same retexture-galore like we had in DA1..

i hope we get introduced to new weapons besides the maces, swords and axes. Preferable spears or fist weapons of some sort,

Personally I hope for more medium armors. I liked my rogues in something other than leather on occasion, but there was only one set of decent medium armor (Wade's) and it was purple. Varathorn crafted a decent breastplate, but it just looked like plain old silverite scale mail.

Then I finally get my rogues into Awakening where the awesome Blackblade armor set is...except the gloves and the boots. Finally some cool looking leather armor, and it's incomplete. So here's to hoping for better armor for rogues.
