I wasn't aware there was a distinction bewteen males and females when it came to mages. Could well be, hard to guess the Qun. All I know is that their mages are treated very badly, kept on leashes and used as tools from memory.Risax wrote...

I don't recall Sten saying anything about men who were mages being kept on leashes in a sense that they are useful battle partners. What I got from it was all mages are kept powerless intentionally. As in, not for battle. My assumption would be male or female would be treated the same. Tongues cut out, locked away somewhere on leashes.
