Do people really mind if long hair clips into outfits?
I know some do, but I want to hear it directly from you guys.
Honestly, no I could care less. Minor things like hair clipping don't bother me much.

I want cooler hairstyles in DA2. Most of the hairstyles for males and females were 'meh', unless you got a mod.
And some games have realistic hair movement--Heavy Rain, Final Fantasy XIII, Uncharted 2, just to name a few. It just hasn't been widely implemented, but we're halfway there.

Agreed. You can't look metal without long hair.
And you want Mike Hawke to look like a metalhead?
Why not?

I'd love to see a Dragon Age/Mass Effect game with the graphics of a MGS4, Uncharted 2, FFXIII, or Heavy Rain.

Forget the hair. Hawke needs white teeth.
Well, I mean when it's in every game because the performance hit is neglegable and the tech is standard. People don't do it now because it's considered of secondary importance and animators often need to work on it personally. We need more procedural techniques used. Technology like Euphoria is a great step forward for animations, and I'd like to see more of that.Maviarab wrote...
Gill..its already available, and its not difficult to do either.
The prblem lies in the devlopers using crappy engines and then not wanting to take the time to fix errors in said game engines.

I think it depends on how badly it clips. I mean.. Some clipping is fine, even expected depending on what armor you wear.(Like the heavy armor sets.)
Personally, I'd be happy enough for decent looking pony tails and braids and such.(I always thought the DA ones were awful. They barely looked like they had enough hair to put it up in a pony tail.)
I'd also like a nice looking curly or wavy hairstyle if they can manage it.(Long hair would be nice too though.) But most curly hair styles look like crap in games.

Something like that would be nice.
My main issue with the current hairstyles is that a lot of them are just too thin looking. Like they used really fine hair for an example. And generally, hair looks better with a little bit more volumne to it.

I would love to have proper long hair in Dragon Age 2 but I highly doubt that Bioware would ever implement it. It seems that if we want long hair we will probably have to mod it in ourselves.
It wouldnt be impossible for Bioware to implement long animated flowing hair however it seems that Bioware thinks that character customization isnt important and wont commit the resources needed to implement it properly.
