I'm very excited for Dragon Age 2.  I think it's a logical step to give your character a last name for reference, and even to make them stay the same race.  I don't mind you taking out Origins, because this game isn't about origins.  That was the first game.  That's why you gave it the subtitle "Origins".  I think it'll be alright to have a character whose history is already defined, but who's future is up to us.
