Good:
-New story framework, Bioware is stepping away from their traditional formula
-Pissing off party members won't necessarily be a bad thing
-Consequences will be shown much sooner (I'm thinking something similar to The Witcher)
-Still imports your DA:O (and presumably Awakening) choices
-Combat on the PC is still the same
Bad:
-Fully voiced "Shepard" type character, no race choice
-Dialog wheel returns so we don't have to READ and ANALYZE
-Console version combat is supposedly drastically different, with a "Dash" move. This means that they're going to be developing 2 separate combat systems at the same time which has me worried that they'll skimp out on improving the fundamental issues on the DA:O system such as the attribute system devolving into each class only spending points in 1 -2 attributes. Better than getting rid of the DA:O system entirely on PC though
Hopes:
-Saved game importing has me optimistic that there will be an updated Toolset
-Bioware isn't just blowing smoke about the new story narrative
-The confirmation of a "dash" moved, even if only on consoles, has me worried that the art style isn't the only "style" being changed.
