After a very frustrating 4 days of installing and unistalling DA:O and associated DLCs, mods, mors etc, etc. I have created a new install to play Darkspawn Chronicles and Leliana's Song. After playing these through a few times I then put on mods, toolset, character creator etc and the toolset says it cann't connect to database and the character creation ingame will not work for both DA:O or DA:A can anyone help please.

first of all you can stop reinstalling DA:O and it's addons, the toolset is quite independent on those, it needs the resources but it can't break the toolset even on a faulty install.
when it comes to can't connect to database there is several pages and solutions on the datoolsetwiki and searching this forum will also give you alot of tips.
