Since you can in fact use your save file from Origins in DA2(Since everyone whines about proof...) here is a link to prove that. http://social.biowar...-3064634-1.html (I find it funny this post is even on the forum you people are complaining on...)

Anyway, commenting on who the confirmed Flemeth is in DA2, I must say I think it will depend on your DA:O file. Not quite sure how that will work if you don't have a DA:O file. Probably it will be set as a standard that the game uses if no choice was made. I sincerely hope the "Flemeth" is in fact Morrigan taking her name cause I LOVE Morrigan! :D. I also hope whether you choose to be her love interest or not effects things.

Keep this in mind people! Flemeth has survived for centuries by taking the body of her "daughters". So would she not in fact look different each time she took a new body? Thus Flemeth is not associated with a certain look. Also, if the Flemeth we new was taken as dead and Morrigan, who was supposed to be the body she took, be claimed as Flemeth anyway?

Think of it this way, whether Flemeth takes Morrigan's body or not, "Flemeth" will look like Morrigan.

I find it also possible that Morrigan took the soul of the god and placed in it a newborn as a sacrifice for Flemeth, perhaps as a gift even. Morrigan lied to us the whole time about why she was with us. She is very good lier.

How could it effect things one way or another?    You're not the Grey Warden anymore, you're Hawke the Champion of Kirkwall (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean) and not even someone who remained in Ferelden during the Blight.

Haha, yes you are correct. My bad. Perhaps some more questions will be answered in future DA:O DLC. Technically, the story of the Grey Warden hasn't finished. To leave it hanging like that, isn't like BioWare. I believe they'll release some DLC in the future dealing with Morrigan(since more DLC has been confirmed).

What if you didn't lay with Morrigan? What if the God-Child didn't exist? And what if you killed Flemeth, and Morrigan just left to travel West supposedly?

Whoa Whoa ... too much theory floating in my mind right now.

But if Flemeth's return confirmed , what more should we do to keep her dead ?! We cut her head off while she was a DRAGON >_>

I lost my sense of reality right now ... take me to the fade

It can't be Morrigan or the God Child--major spoilers in my post.

Morrigan takes the baby to the Frostback Mountains, or she herself travels to Orlais. They are both very far from the Free Marshes, and the game takes place during and a little after Origins. Morrigan would've had to have aged tremendously.

I think the lady is Flemeth because we kill her, and Morrigan even states that she will be back. Also, Alistair even says that Morrigan looks just like Flemeth--so that lady should probably look like Morrigan, maybe? I just find it too hard to believe that Morrigan could've traveled all the way to the Free Marshes when it says in the epilogue that Morrigan leaves towards Orlais (either Frostback Mountains which is bordering Orlais, or to Orlais itself).

Umm ... it just said she was traveling that way she could of went further for all we know. Plus she would have to take the frost back moutain path ... because I really cant see Morrigan taking a boat can you?

Umm... no. If you look at a map, the Free Marshes are almost north of Ferelden while Orlais/Frostback Mountains lie west of Ferelden. I find it impossible for Morrigan to go west, and then for some reason go northeast... Also, she would still have to take a boat to go from the Frostback Mountains to the Free Marshes. Look at a map of Thedas, if you don't believe me.

I think it mainly lies with Flemeth. Because Morrigan keeps telling you that Flemeth will not be dead, even if you kill her, Flemeth is easily still alive--maybe looking for another soul, or she will come back twice as powerful.

In the stories, Flemeth brought up an army against Ferelden (or something forgot the details). Although Flemeth says it isn't true, who is to say it isn't (not even Morrigan believes her mother fully).

Maybe we will be fighting Flemeth in the Free Marshes, but I don't count on my speculation coming true as fact...

I don't think Morrigan has any chance of appearing in this sequel, though.

Lmao, so true, when you look at it from that angle. Difficult witch to slay, eh?

I think that it's too early to know who or what exactly the relationship will be between the old Flemmeth, Morrigan, and the godchild, given that we don't know the exact timeframe. If it DOES indeed start the story full swing during the events of the first game, the godchild would not be old enough to be an adult. That does not mean that it could not be a major plot element anyway in that's the case however. Possible identities:

-Flemmeth takes over Morrigans body despite her defenses; raises child. (unlikely)

-Flemmeth inhabits the unborn child along with that of the soul of the Old God. (no idea how likely)

-Flemmeth is truly dead, and Morrigan takes on the name and tradition, in the hopes of one day inhabiting the body of her powerful godchild (also probably unlikely)

-All three somehow merge into a superbeing ?!?! (so ridiculously unlikely it makes my eyes cross just thinking about it)

Point being, the likelihood of various major plots is highly dependent on when exactly that 10 year time frame is set. Until we know that, we must face the fact that our guesses, most likely, will be wrong.

To truly defeat Flemeth, we must destroy all seven of her Horcruxes and then slay her while she's in her mortal form.

Only then will Hogwarts be safe.

You could write a book about how and why it took so many books. And sadly, chances are high even that will occur.

Hey, J.K. Rowling's a whole hell of a lot more talented than that blight on the Earth Stephanie Meyer.

I'd buy that book.
