Another thing about this Duncan,I didn't really trust him either, there was something sneaky about him.
Not surprising, given his historyRead the books, they are great and very easy to read. Will show you why you feel as you do
Nah,don't have time for books me :-) would be more easy if you told me

You can never quite say with 100% confidence what is or isn't possible in a game, especially the type of setting like this which allows for many loopholes the that writers could exploit if they so choose. In reality, the absence of a body and only showing you his weapons is probably just a way to give the writers room to work if they did want to use him in the future. Whether they do or not is anybody's guess.

If a patronizing explanation comes After the lore has been established would it NOT be called Ret-con?

false belief, it can still be
DA1 was full of those mistakes and misunderstandings and simply wrong knowledges

You are forgetting how dumb we are too! I mean we just read all those things and get a feeling of humungous pride about how knowledgeable we are.... About time they slapped us awake I say..... :innocent:. There's an Aesop for you...

Actually Hawke will have Beard as an equipable item.
Duncan will drop, "A tainted Beard", that will be Dex -1 but huge bonus to Coercion, considering how he made the illogical deals like in the Human Noble storyline (where he almost Hypnotizes everyone to make the Younger Cousland a GW) go through in a jiffy.

Yes it would.... IF it was established. However, lack of body = not 100% established as dead, regardless of what Mr. Gaider has said. What he said basically amounts to that they have no current plans for him. But the option is still there. Though I should mention that I'm not exactly rooting for this... bringing back Duncan at this point would likely be a cheesy storytelling cop out. But if they came up with a really cool idea that made it fit naturally and well into the story, I'd be for it.

tthere are darkspawn who don't fit into the known lore, like most of Awakening

Well, that may be established lore. Though they've already introduced grey wardens getting more darkspawn-like as they get older (hence the tradition of going to die in the deep roads). Fact is, the writer's are commonly establishing lore like that only to introduce exceptions, thereby making them all the more shocking (and cool).
But my argument was never that the writer's could make him a darkspawn. That's just one possibility, if they really wanted to make that possible in the the Dragon Age universe. My point was more that, through what they HAVEN'T told the audience, that it's theoretically possible they could use Duncan as a character in a new story, whether as alive, a darkspawn, or through some other more complicated means. Probable? Maybe not. Just that it doesn't make sense to be 100% sure one way or another. I for one look forward to any twists the devs may toss at us

Especially when:
Given:
Everything NOT established =infinity =continuity --- (1)
Proof: infinity + Finite(y) = Infinite.... = Continuity! ---- SEE 1
where: Finite =new lore
QED: Thus adding to known lore does not break continuity!
So yeah, they are mathematically justified too...

You get all sorts of interesting things when you introduce mathematical infinities into equations
But for this, let's just stick with your justification for continuity with new lore.

That should make the cameo by a dead Duncan all the more interesting
