some things from ME2 you WOULD like to see in DA2

different levels of protection....armor, magic barriers etc...it would present some new challenges and spell /talent combinations to strip these away, ala barrier, armor, shields...
a travelling hub...like the Normandy, maybe a aravell or whatever the dalish use
upgrades...while not surrendering all weapon purchases and drops it would be cool to see some way of using lyrium or spells to strenghten a weapon
the l2/r2 symbols in convo..that let you do something awesome in conversation
anyways, people keep knocking the use of ME2 systems, but its clear that bioware will use some of the stuff they made in that game, and it was a pretty awesome game...anyone else see anything they would like to roll over?

A good example of ME2's amazing camera work is Samara vs. Morinth.

Oh, and of course a real femme fatale. Strongly identify with those when they are done right.

Lasers, space marines, and zombies! Cover shooting, lack of RPG elements, zoomed in camera angle to increase motion sickness, stripping out a meaningful inventory system, no control over party member gear
Was that really necessary?

The cinematography =)
I'm still hoping to be able to turn off depth-of-field effects.

Different is good.
Diversity means better video games for everyone.

Voiced codex entries
Other then that, DA:O did everything better then ME2 so really nothing I want to see brought over.
DA:O was the far superior game all round!

Scanning planets but instead it would be magically scanning mountains.

If they have to bring anything from ME over, I loved the opening movie for ME2 and would object to something like that starting DA2

The Widow sniper rifle. Just imagine how much easier that archdemon fight would have been with it.
Every game needs an uber weapon. I don't think (other than Starfang... dlc...) I found one of such quality in DA:O
Arrow of Slaying was nice, but damn that cool down!
I want to commit murder ALL THE TIME!
