Um, hawks are one of very many raptor birds. I specifically mentioned ospreys and owls, which are in fact not hawks.

Ok, I still like the werehalla idea, but if that is not available then I vote for Dragon (you can ride it and it can tear the flesh off of your enemies). Maybe a demon dragon that you can summon from the Fade?

I love the mabari but it was quite plain, as in every other mabari you come across looks exsactly the same sooo i want a one of a kind mabari im thinking a half breed mabari summit like Hafter from dragon age the calling think it was half wolf.
