I really think what disturbs me is how it is pronounced with the e at the end. I even think Hawk or Hawking wouldn't bother me as much as Hawke.

I didn't have a problem with Altaïr at all. The pronounciation being different from the star's makes it fine for me, especially as all the dialogue in that game is straight voiced and you hardly ever see it in writing in game that I'm aware of. But Hawke sounds just like hawk, and you know it.

Now that you mention it, his eybrows kind remind me of a hawk (the way they are arched).
Also (thought i am not sure) his not seems to be shaped in a way too look like a beak.

Nah I prefer those from the original WC series, King Chynn needs to die and Garrosh is a newb, Thrall is beast. But the best person eva is Sylvannas, sexy and evil
