I appreciate your continued work on the Dragon Age IP and am looking forward to this new direction. It has alot of promise from what ive read so far, and seems like it will offer much greater depth and relatability then the current incarnation of the IP. Origens/Awakening had too many varibles even though I enjoyed it as well there were lacking times due to the sheer number of options you had to code for. I really feel for you, it must have been frustrating and demanding. Im extremly happy on your deicision to focus the story and I like the idea of events happening over a decade instead of the small time frame Origens and Awakening take place in. I am also looking forward to having personal recognition of our characters beyond just "Warden" and how the protagonist of the next generation will have a defined name and spoken interactive dialog. I am very excited for this, thank you Bioware.
I am also extremly happy to have confirmed that The Wardens story will have effect on events in DA2, it has lit the fires of motivation to play all through again and really evaluate the deicions made to setup a choice/preferable start and story relavance I would like in my gaming experince in your forthcoming Dragon Age 2. Thank you
In closing I hope you can achive everything you wanted in this IP without much cuts, and I am looking forward to enjoying the world of Thedas once again from entirly new perspective. Thank you very much Bioware.

Look, I'm looking forward to this game too (I'm not in the "the changed it now it sucks crowd") but these worshipful, over-the-top "thank you" posts that inevitably pop up to try to counter the hate are annoying too. I mean, how many times do you need to say "thank you" in one post? It doesn't come off as sincere.

Seriously if they were not getting paid no game would be happening. The money in thier pockets is thanks enough from us I think.
I don't know. There are jobs out there that pay way more than game development that the devs could have pursued had they wanted to. I doubt they would have pursued this stuff if they didn't want an audience.

How many times have people already whined, bitc*ed and complained about the small amount of information we've already been given? I'm pretty sure it's vastly approaching the 4-figure mark by now (on these forums alone).Riona45 wrote...

There's nothing wrong with people wanting to give the developers a little encouragement to try to counteract the incessant flow of negativity a lot of users on this forum are determined to levy their way.
Thanks for making such fun games, Bioware; I appreciate all the work you all put into them. <3

But I'm looking forward to seeing it myself, nothing I've read has made me splatter coffee all over my laptop yet, anyway, you might even say I'm excited about it.

But yeah thanks for all the good games (so far!
That Writers Block? -- your vodoo doll with Tinfoil hat on it
some backache? -- your doll buried under the compiled volumes of the Wheel of Time
dizziness? -- your doll watching this www.youtube.com/watch
a cold? -- just a plain cold, stop going outside and keep making games

Honestly, the only real complaint I have is that we will not be continuing our warden. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to the game as your track record speaks for itself and I'm sure you'll pump out a fantastic product, no matter what the trolls on these forums say

I appreciated the hell out of Origins, even with it's bugs(PS3). Awakening, not so much...
