I see so many pessimistict and angry posts here so I would like to just offer my thanks to you Bioware for the enjoyment you games have given me over the years and I appricite all your Programmers, Developers, Writers and Artists hard work. Times have been tough for everyone with the way things are but its glad to see that dosnt seem to have perfected the spot on job you are all doing,  Thank you.

I appreciate your continued work on the Dragon Age IP and am looking forward to this new direction. It has alot of promise from what ive read so far, and seems like it will offer much greater depth and relatability then the current incarnation of the IP. Origens/Awakening had too many varibles even though I enjoyed it as well there were lacking  times due to the sheer number of options you had to code for. I really feel for you, it must have been frustrating and demanding. Im extremly happy on your deicision to focus the story and I like the idea of events happening over a decade instead of the small time frame Origens and Awakening take place in. I am also looking forward to having personal recognition of our characters beyond just "Warden" and how the protagonist of the next generation will have a defined name and spoken interactive dialog. I am very excited for this, thank you Bioware.

I am also extremly happy to have confirmed that The Wardens story will have effect on events in DA2, it has lit the fires of motivation to play all through again and really evaluate the deicions made to setup a choice/preferable start and story relavance I would like in my gaming experince in your forthcoming Dragon Age 2. Thank you

In closing I hope you can achive everything you wanted in this IP without much cuts, and I am looking forward to enjoying the world of Thedas once again from entirly new perspective.  Thank you very much Bioware.

I think people shouldn't judge the game so early, saying it will be bad because of X. I myself will not go into a blind rage and whine like most of the people here about how I won't like being a human called Hawke in DA2, as long as you can be female and male Hawke, and as long as you can choose what kind of person he will be formed through out and  in the game, I am fine, also I don't mind voiced over pc, however HE MUST SAY WHAT I READ. I recall in Mass effect reading the dialogue wheel and choosing some option, but Shepard said something totally different which was not what I was expecting. Overall before I judge something I wait anxiously for trailers and more info because really from all the info we have I can't really sum up what to expect. Other than that, I see Bioware are doing a great job, replying to several people's posts, etc. Even the negatives ones.

Look, I'm looking forward to this game too (I'm not in the "the changed it now it sucks crowd") but these worshipful, over-the-top "thank you" posts that inevitably pop up to try to counter the hate are annoying too.  I mean, how many times do you need to say "thank you" in one post?  It doesn't come off as sincere.

Seriously if they were not getting paid no game would be happening. The money in thier pockets is thanks enough from us I think.

I don't know.  There are jobs out there that pay way more than game development that the devs could have pursued had they wanted to.  I doubt they would have pursued this stuff if they didn't want an audience.

How many times have people already whined, bitc*ed and complained about the small amount of information we've already been given? I'm pretty sure it's vastly approaching the 4-figure mark by now (on these forums alone).

There's nothing wrong with people wanting to give the developers a little encouragement to try to counteract the incessant flow of negativity a lot of users on this forum are determined to levy their way.

Thanks for making such fun games, Bioware; I appreciate all the work you all put into them. <3

What would top it off is if you could offer Bioware some sort of blood sacrifice, livestock perhaps, or something like that.

But I'm looking forward to seeing it myself, nothing I've read has made me splatter coffee all over my laptop yet, anyway, you might even say I'm excited about it.

Is there a word to convey appreciation that hits harder than it does, but still falls short of, "Make love to me!"?

Thanks for crushing my hopes, trampling on my dreams and breaking my wardens heart (hint: Morrigan) :crying::crying::crying:

But yeah thanks for all the good games (so far! :P). I'll never forgive you that Morrigan ending tho, but then I've got my Vodoo dolls of select DA writers for that particular frustration. :wizard:

That Writers Block?  -- your vodoo doll with Tinfoil hat on it

some backache? --  your doll buried under the compiled volumes of the Wheel of Time

dizziness? -- your doll watching this www.youtube.com/watch

a cold? -- just a plain cold, stop going outside and keep making games

And before we forget, DA2 will be $49.99 on PC; $59.99 on Xbox and PS3.

I find it quite funny to see people whining about the ones that complain without knowing much about the upcoming game, while posting a long winded post saying how much they love a game without knowing much at all about it.

Bioware -

Honestly, the only real complaint I have is that we will not be continuing our warden. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to the game as your track record speaks for itself and I'm sure you'll pump out a fantastic product, no matter what the trolls on these forums say

I appreciated the hell out of Origins, even with it's bugs(PS3). Awakening, not so much...

Hey, nothing wrong with expressing appreciation for something, even if you have to pay for it. Why else would authors, actors, and singers get fan mail? I've got to pay for so many things in life, it's nice to have the money get me something cool once in a while.

And I'm fairly confident that Dragon Age II will be something cool. :D

I appreciate the work the devs do too, but isn't it a bit premature to be praising a game none of us have played yet??
